The RATGIRLs' attentions are focused on their latest mark, so the player can choose to sneak by without any penalty. He can also choose to intervene, in which case it's a tough battle vs 3 RATGIRLs. Because it's likely a tough battle, there might be a skill check to sneak up and take one out before the fight starts.
If the player wins, they'll find the nobleman to be grateful – he was fine with one RATGIRL, he didn't expect the other two to jump him for all of his possessions. He might give some info. He will be stingy with his rewards, but the player will get loot from defeating the RATGIRLs.
