It's another narrow and claustrophobic alley with pools of shadow deep enough to hide thieves. This one seems empty, or at least you thought so. When you reach the end you realise you've pickpocketed of X gold, so stealthily you were completely unaware of when it happened.
X has to be enough to be a nuisance, but not so much the player despairs of ever accumulating the casino entry fee. Maybe it could have a stat check to avoid, but I might save that for another room.
