A narrow and claustrophobic alley with looming walls on either side. There is little light down here and plenty of shadows for unsavoury types to hide within. Thankfully, this alley seems empty and you walk to the end with no incident.
How to implement The Warren's back alleys could be done in multiple ways. They're meant to be a dense maze for the player to get lost in. This could be done the old Fighting Fantasy way of lots of short, almost identical passages of very similar corridors until the player gets lost. Or through an RNG system of different events, so the player doesn't know what's coming next even if they've been through the alleys before.

Original Dead Space was really good. Also played it on the 360. One of the best horror games of all time. I'm hearing a lot of good things about the remake. Will probably pick that up at some point. Still have the Res Evil 3 remake to play through (waited for a sale for that one as I heard it's lacking in content in comparison to the excellent RE2 remake).

2023-02-08 12:47:25 +0000 UTCLoved the new harlot MEH. Also have you played Dead Space yet? The Remake is fucking awesome! Dead Space was basically my Resident Evil just like you love Resident Evil. It was my first game I got for my Xbox 360 (man I feel old) and my first Horror game overall.
