Update 15th Jan '23

I made some tweaks to the 'symbiote' scenarios to remove the inconsistencies in how they react to the player visiting the other beforehand.  I've removed it from the intro and left it as a more subtle warning while socialising.  That should clean up some inconsistencies with the scenarios and make their reactions in the room make more sense.

I also tried to fix a reported bug with Suka's repeat visit not responding to the Black Rose.  That's when I started to run into the problems with the Twine editor I mentioned in the recent Roadmap post.

The problems are with the editor rather than the project itself.  And looking around it seems there is a fix in breaking the project down into separate chunks and then compiling them together using Tweego.  I'll be looking into that next week and post an update when I've figured out what needs to be done.

This has forced some changes to the plans.  The lag issues are primarily a display problem when the editor window is trying to show too many passages and links, so I might be able to sneak in a couple more harlot scenarios.  I can't do Eve Satana, currently, as she requires a change in the core loop to redirect the scenario to the bar.  I think I might be able to do Cream Massage Girl and Fungal Dress Girl.  The plan is to create separate releases for them so I have content to put out for Jan and Feb while I reorganise the project so it isn't breaking the editor.

I also have backup plans involving rewriting the old H-space bestiary stories, so I will still be able to get new(ish) content out while fixing the editor problems.

As for the new harlot scenarios, I was hard at work on them in the week and this is where they're currently at:

Mistress Eve Satana
Mostly typed up.  Currently on a wait list while I sort the other problems out.

Cream Massage Harlot
Typed up.

Fungal Dress Girl
Started typing her up this week and have about 1K words typed up.

Fleshpot Girl
1st draft written.

Artificial Pitcher Plant Girl
In process of writing 1st draft.  Maybe 50% done.

The priority next week will be to get the Cream Massage Girl and Fungal Dress releases queued up.  At the same time I'll be researching and playing around with Tweego to figure out how to reorganise the project so the editor stops timing out at the size of it.
