Midweek Update 28th Jul '22
Added 2022-07-28 11:04:02 +0000 UTCI think the usual end-of-week post spooked a few people (and scared a few patrons off, sadly). I'd had a rotten week for a variety of reasons and wasn't in the best frame of mind when I wrote it.
The Amazon situation is still ongoing, unfortunately. I'm still politely pestering them. I think this is the usual nightmare big-corpo situation where their help department is manned by the underpaid, under-trained, or just incompetent, and you have to keep politely bugging them until you can find the competent individual able to unstuck the problem.
However, I suspect what I said on HoHH might have been what spooked people. Western monster girl H-games have a terrible record of starting out promising, then the creator getting stuck/burnt out, and the project ultimately getting abandoned. I think some people saw that post and had a "Uh oh, here we go again" moment, especially when I mentioned migrating to other game engines...
So, to clarify some things. I am going to continue working on the Twine version to completion (or it breaks Twine - in which case I'll slim the content down to fit in the ending). The individual scenarios seem to be well-received, even if some of the core game mechanics aren't quite a good fit in their current state. Including the 1sts drafts, I'm now well past the halfway point, so it would be silly to let a temporary lack of confidence get in the way of writing it to a finished version.
Because the end of the month got derailed by the Amazon problems, I won't be able to release the 3 new harlots as originally planned. I did consider just rushing the typing up and implementation, but that chokes off the new harlot 1st drafts and means I just end up flailing until the new material catches up. I think in this case it's better to get the 'production line' running smoothly again and releasing whatever's ready at the end of the month. This means I'm currently writing Succuba's 1st draft, typing up Huntress 2, and (nearly finished) implementing Kiki Sumoppai (Gas Balloon Tits Wrestler).
This means I'll just release Kiki at the end of the month, but will likely do an additional mid-August release as soon as Huntress 2 & Dodgeball Arachne are ready. Because I'll also be writing new harlot scenarios alongside this, I should have a new selection when running a harlot poll to choose the next 3 to implement.
Obviously, because of the ongoing issues of trying to get my old short story collections back out I'm going to have to be fairly flexible.
I hope this clarifies some things. Feel free to comment below if there are other things you wish to know.
Thanks.

2022-10-23 12:12:25 +0000 UTCHmmm I'm still here, though I realized that I've been gone for a few months since June, because of some crappy Patreon payment issue (re-try keeps failing regardless of whatever payment methods). I ended up changing my contribution, which seems to help - I'll make up for it with purchasing your re-published works!

2022-10-23 09:15:39 +0000 UTCCoincidence. I put "Gas Balloon Tits" into Google Translate to Japanese and then tried to fashion a name out of the bits that sounded bimboish. Kiki seems a good fit for her.

2022-08-01 15:38:20 +0000 UTCYes it is. Also I just discovered that your harlot Kiki has the same name as the succubus (who is also named Kiki) from Helluva Boss. The one succubus that was wearing the "fishnet shirt" and was having group sex at the Spring Break beach party with the humans. Was her naming intentional?

2022-07-29 11:11:29 +0000 UTCTake your time MEH. Don't rush because the work is almost always going to be crap if you rush it and don't take the time to fix everything. Getting just Kiki at the end of July and getting the other two harlots later is fine. Although, thanks for clarifying. I was getting a bit nervous that my favorite supernatural erotic author was going to throw in the towel. Hope Amazon fixes everything quickly.

2022-07-28 21:27:58 +0000 UTCTo be fair, you have commented every once in a while that Twine is struggling with HoHH, and will probably not be the final platform the game will run on. The when and how you migrate the engine is a problem, yes, but it is no surprise at all.
