Update 7th Nov '21

I feel like I'm getting back to normal again with the new computer.

The first half of the week was spent updating the public houseofhellishharlots.com website.  WebDev is not one of my strengths, so that was a battle and the site itself doesn't look very enticing at the moment, being plain text.  I think I'll have to set aside an hour or so a day to keep fiddling with it until it looks more presentable.

Then it was back to writing new harlots.  Thanks to some real life interruptions, this was a little stop-start.

Currently in progress I have the scorpion-tailed geisha assassin, Sasori Oiran.  Her first draft is nearly finished.  She has an interesting lore back story I think I'll have The Elegant Woman talk about.  This might be a character I can use elsewhere, although writing historical fiction is hard.

I also dragged Assphyxia off the hiatus pile and finished typing her up.  I know a few people have been eagerly awaiting her appearance.  While it is typed up, her scenario will need a slightly more thorough edit to make sure her appearance and personality are kept the same across the scenario as I did have problems pinning that down.

I'm not sure how deeply I'll go into her repeat visit scenarios at the moment.  She is supposed to mirror Mamilla's, with additional visits eventually leading to a non-standard end where she claims the player.  I also intend having a special scenario where both Mamilla and Assphyxia double-team the player.  I think I'll hold off on them for now as I've gone back to filling out the lower rounds rather than completing a faction.  It will be content I don't think the player will be able to trigger within the 5 round demo.  For now I'll just add her first visit and look to go back and expand on it later.

Next week I'll continue with the new harlot handwritten drafts.
