House of Hellish Harlots v0.026 (2 new harlots - Cíocha Gadaí-na-Bod and Misty)
Added 2021-10-31 19:24:09 +0000 UTCIt's been a fairly scrambled month with technical issues, having to replace my computer, an aborted attempt to finish a Halloween short story, and so on. Originally, I was going to push past the end of the month and add Cíocha's big sister (the big boobfairy), but I was finding I was getting stalled on the 1st draft. And when that happens it's best to put it on the side, work on something else and then go back to later. I also don't like letting releases slip past the end of the month as I feel it means people get charged by Patreon for nothing. So, this is only a small release, but it should hopefully draw a line under the technical issues and mark a return to normality for next month.
There are 2 new harlots added in this release, taking the total count up to 42.
Cíocha Gadaí-na-Bod
The boobfairy. If you like your monster girls deliciously evil, Cíocha is definitely your gal. She's a little on the spiteful side. For some reason, the fairies I add to the House have some of the nastiest Bad Ends, and Cíocha is no exception. Make good choices and I hope you don't wince too hard.
If you do survive, you'll notice her mention a 'big sister'. That is Cruiscíní. I haven't finished her yet. Cíocha is intended to be a one-two punch scenario similar to Osculia's, where she returns right after with a more dangerous scenario. That will be in a future release, as well as a solo scenario for the big boobfairy.
Misty
If you remember the very early demo I put out a couple of years ago, there was a fog succubus that killed the player if they dallied too much on the way to the House. I've given her a harlot scenario. It's fairly short and simple. This is close to the original idea I had for how the scenarios would be (so the project wouldn't take too long). I think I might rattle off a few more like this over the next month or so, just to pump the numbers up a bit.

There won't be the usual update post today as I'm putting the new release out. I'll probably post something midweek about my plans for November.

It should show a difference in text. It's just not very useful in this scenario. As with the other succufairies, having the right disposition is key. The charms in this scenario are similar to the 'fake' choices of other scenarios. In this, they're (not) working as intended. I might add another piece of gossip to the Elegant Woman to reference this. Also, I'm trying to limit the headaches the 'surrender' gift causes me. It should just funnel the player into a nice sexy Bad End, not require me to write an additional Bad End just for it. If you bring the Black Rose to Ciocha, it will negate the effects of any protective charms. There might be some exceptions I need to go back and fix, but I'm trying to standardise it so that the Black Rose gift will negate any protective charms and give the player the Bad End as if they didn't have them.

2021-11-01 11:34:24 +0000 UTCI liked the new harlots a lot! One thing seemed odd, I would have thought that the anti-paralysis charm (Ngo Sen Sei if I'm not mistaken?) would work during the boobfairy encounter, but it didn't, is it intended? Anyways, a solid update, thank you for your work!
