Update 8th Aug '21

At the start of the week I put out version 0.022 of House of Hellish Harlots.  I was hoping to get the month off to a flier.  Life got in the way of that after I had to get caught up on some other things and then had some back problems that kept me away from my writing desk.

I was still able to keep things ticking over.

Ygolia Campbell stalled a little again.  I was making progress in fixing that until tweaking something in my lower back meant I had to move away from typing up for a couple of days until it stopped playing up.

Instead I switched back to writing the wrap'n'facesit succubus.  Her 1st draft is near the end and I'm hoping to finish the last couple of pages tonight after this.

I also started work on Assphyxia.  She's a mirror of Mamilla in a lot of respects, so I can simply rewrite from that template with a few key deviations to keep it from seeming like a palette swap.  The fun part with her will be when she teams up with Mamilla later.

The latex blob scenario still hasn't settled.  Some of the ideas I had there seemed better suited for the Queen scenario.  Instead, I will probably do a proper repeat scenario for Osculia Suffocati.  Her scenario naturally feels like it should be a two-parter and I worked out what her scene will be should the player survive her "trap."  If people still want to see the latex blob, I'll add her as one of the options for the patron poll for the final smotherbus spot.

Working on Osculia should give me an excuse to revamp how harlot revisits are handled (both for her and Assphyxia).  There are also some things I want to try out with respect to overriding the selection algorithm.

Next week I'll be back at the desk and hoping to catch up on the typing.  (or replacing a faulty chair if it continues to give my back trouble!)
