2025-05-23 20:32:54 +0000 UTCFrieren is a brand new Anime for me. Watching these first few episodes has been such a joy, especially watching it for the first along with you Jason and Heather. This anime you can definitely tell is one that tugs at all the emotions and does a really great job at it. A few of my favorite things so far in this anime is definitely the music combined with the animation, it’s put together very well. Another one of my favorite things is how part of the story is showing the connection with other people in the past Frieren had , that she never realized and now in the future she’s sort of connecting those dots and realizing the importance of all those connections and bonds she’s made throughout her life and also creating new ones. I’m really loving this show so far, I’m enjoying this new journey with you guys. As always Jason and Heather, love you guys!

She loves them so much she takes them as payments for work. In the English sub they didn’t outright say it but in the English dub frieren herself stated that the reason they sealed the demon and didn’t kill him is because 80 years ago they simply weren’t strong enough to do so and now 80 years later frieren is now strong enough to kill the demon on her own. The magic the demon was using (Zoltraak”) was so advanced back then that when frieren and her friends tried to defeat him they had no kind of magic that would work on him. That’s how powerful his magic was. Also look at heather helping out Jason to help him understand what’s going on. Heather is becoming an anime pro! 2025-05-06 19:08:08 +0000 UTCThere's a reason why Frieren, and even Fern, tend to doze off. It has nothing to do with aging. If you pay attention to the story well enough you can piece it together beyond episode 10. Honestly, it took me a bit before I was able to do the same.
