Although this song is in relation to the Ace's death but the song was very emotional and the composition is so exceptionally good! Opening #5 "kokoro no chizu" will also have a very special place in my heart. This is where I started to discover One Piece back in around 2006 cause it was being locally televised here at Philippines. I remember being so happy when there are class suspensions or during summer breaks, where I wake up early and wait 9am to start watching this goofy boy who has rubber powers! Those days.. 18 years later, One Piece is still on fire and still my top Anime/Manga of all time! <3

This Opening songs embody OP as a whole and u can feel the love and positivity from it, some of it make me tear up. OP and ED are integral parts of Anime and so glad u guys can enjoy it like this.

2024-11-28 21:58:11 +0000 UTCIt's not my favorite opening but it's the opening that speaks to me. It's opening number 20. I'm avoiding title because it is kind of a spoiler within itself. But I don't feel like there has been an opening that was disappointing because if you follow the lyrics they all kind of fit with the premise of the One Piece story.

2024-11-27 20:17:57 +0000 UTCThe 5th opening was the one LoneCurier21 and I tried to sing in the last live π . The opening 13 was during Marineford and therefore we didnβt know about Sabo yet. It is really good. But my favourite is 14. The music is from Namie Amuro I told you about her. She was drawn in the other opening of one piece she made. (Too early to watch π€«). The whole opening takes you through the Marineford and pre time skip episodes. But the most powerful scene is where you see Luffy in front of the tree on the training island and see Ace from behind pushing Luffy saying like: live your life with your nakamas. Iβll be always with you little brother. So powerful π₯Ή

2024-11-27 20:16:47 +0000 UTCThe artist who sang we are the first opening was brought in for a temporary vocal track role, he was approached to give it a shot since they couldn't decide who would sing it . This turned out to be a life saving career as his company said they see no future in him.
