Kernstalion beyond book one and Nothing but bones

Kernstalion:

So, I hope you've enjoyed Kernstalion book one! Chapter 82 marks the end of what became an over eight hundred pages long story that started with a simple idea I had. It's also my longest book and the first one I plotted instead of pantsed. For those who don't know what that means: some writers just sit down and write a story without any planning ahead. You will find many D&D dungeon masters amongst those. Others have an idea for a plot and work out every detail and character in it until they end with an outlining that just needs to be filled in. There is something to be said for both ways of storytelling, but as with most of life, the truth probably lies in the middle. I am a pantser by heart but wanted to try my hand at plotting. The result is Kernstalion.

As it also seems to be my most popular story, I will be continuing with book two straight away, but at a slightly slower pace. I'll put chapter one of book two on Patreon this weekend. After that, there will be one chapter per week as I slowly begin to work through the kinks of the story plan I've laid out for book two. There should be two chapters per week again after a while.

Nothing but bones:

After some hiccups with the outlining, I've finally finished my general overview of NBB3's story and character progression. Depending on how things go, the first chapters will start appearing next weekend.

Beyond book three, there is a short story I've started writing. It has another main character, but not someone those who read book one are unfamiliar with. It is going to be roughly 50k words and will bridge a part of book two and book three that is glossed over at the start of book three. I've written the first three chapters, and you can expect the first one on Sunday. As with the book, the chapters will be slightly shorter. As with the other things I write, the whole story will be free to my patrons.
