Choose Your Own Adventure (Part 1)
Added 2023-06-19 20:00:03 +0000 UTCSo, I might have gone down the rabbit hole a bit with this one. This is Part 1 of 7 of a one week choose your own adventure. I'd been playing around with doing a Twine game for a while, but those quickly can balloon out to become completely unreasonable in scope. This 7-part series ended up being a way I was hoping to quickly give the sense of a sweeping story where you as the player have some but not unlimited agency, with a range of tones rather than pure wish fulfillment for a more dynamic experience. This is definitely an experiment for me so I'll be curious on what you all think when the week is done.
As an aside, I'll be posting the first pages of Help, I'm Stuck as a French Maid, Issue 3, starting the 26th!
