Night VI - Standard Heretic - Part One
Added 2025-05-15 21:24:40 +0000 UTCThe first half of the Standard Heretic Route is available. If you went to Meyrrvik instead of to woodland sexytimes, this update is for you. The Standard Heretic route is very similar to the Standard/Aligned Zealot so if you already played that one then there wont be too many differences apart from minor personality nuances. However, if you accepted Valdricht's offer then you'll be able to have an extended episode. Similar to the Unaligned Zealot, you'll have a longer, out-on-the-town scene.

For Unaligned Zealots still waiting on the Kissed-Serax route, I'm finishing that up tomorrow and will post once it's available. In the meantime, I've removed the bond requirement for getting either Serax or Valdricht to comfort you in the bathing room so you can choose freely between the two. After that, I'll be working on the second half of the NSFW Heretic route. And if all these route names are confusing and you feel like you can't keep them straight, fear not, the Week One update will sort all of it out and will come with a handy profile stat to let you know what your storyline is. More on that in a post I'll be making a little later today!

POINT IS, I am here with reactions and now under the RIGHT post 😭. “While she continues your measurements, your gaze drifts to your feet. You haven’t really taken the time to look at them until now. They’re… lovely. Pale, smooth, symmetrical in a way that still surprises you.” She’s so freaking cute! Question, is pale supposed to apply to olive skin here (which my Heretic has)? Obviously, there is light olive individuals, but there is also darker and that's how I envision my Heretic's skin color 😊. “He scratches at the edge of his jaw. 'You’ve been… less insufferable than I expected. I don’t usually like having people around, but you’re not loud. You listen. You’re easy to talk to, even when you’re being a pain.'" This feels so pointed at my Zealot 😂. Joke’s on Serax, he has a blue thread with her. "I guess I just didn’t want you to leave." Someone likes the meek type more than he lets on… "It is not marriage I'm seeking, it is respect. I'd like to be treated as a person of dignity, not as...however it is you apparently treat courtesans.” Tell him, bebe! That’s right, you deserve respect and to be treated like a queen (love how I'm saying this when, hours ago, I was begging you for a degenerate DMM MF route, askdakjs). “'I treat them quite generously,' Serax says with a sly grin. 'It's Valdricht who has no fondness for a skilled woman with few scruples.' You clamp your hands over your ears. 'I do not recall asking your taste in women.' Without warning, Serax is up on his feet. You're scarcely able to draw in a gasp before he's kneeling in front of you. His big hands seem to swallow your wrists as he pulls your arms down. 'I believe you asked why I would want you as my progeny,' he says. You're so startled by his swiftness that all you can think to do is nod. Serax holds your gaze. 'I have been with Valdricht for a century. I had thought I would be alone once he was gone. Now that you're here, I have hope that I will be able to endure a world without him.'" Mortish, STOP, you’re making me want the Serax MF route even more. Idc if he's snake, we will find a way to make this work, if it’s the last thing we do. "'You misunderstand,' he says with a frown. 'You could be wearing a burlap sack and he'd think as much.' 'You're jesting.' He steps closer, brushing a loose strand behind your ear. His fingers trail against your skin a moment too long to be necessary. 'You’re getting yourself worked up over nothing. Everything will be fine from here on out.'” 😏😏😏, I see you Serax. You DO care. fighting for you is back on! Also, I bet Val would love her in a burlap sack, easier to remove when— Ahem. Next point: Aww, Serax combs her hair. But also, rude, Valdricht didn’t dress up for my Heretic like he did for my Zealot. This is why my Heretic likes Serax more, Val! …WAIT, HOLDING HER HAND? BEFORE MARRIAGE? SCANDALOUS!!! At least they’re wearing gloves for protection. But still, while chaperoned, my word! Ahhh, this was so much fun to spend my Saturday night on and I can't wait to see the rest, PLUS the new prologue! That said, congrats on your students and excuse me whilst I replay my Unaligned Zealot, someone needs to smack Serax at least once for his audacity.

Nice to see how her inexperience is on display and how Val plans to navigate that—Letting it happen but still there incase of emergency.
