It's the 10th! As usual, here's the new VS update!


Patch notes TLDR:


Painless is one of the oldest requests for this game
, which somehow wasn’t taken into consideration at the start and thus was far more difficult to add than it should’ve been. I hope it pleases a few of you out there that may have been mitigating this issue otherwise.

The loading changes should hopefully alleviate some of the mobile crashing issues that have been happening; I appreciate any reports of improvements or changes.

The positioning rework is focused around making positioning as a whole more compelling for a wider part of the playerbase; now, you can set specific positions that are manageable/comfortable for you and match your effort level depending on how you usually play!

Opportunities should spice up interactions and allow you a bit more control over how sessions play out. Want to spice it up a bit? Provoke or taunt her, and get different tasks for a little while!

Lastly, I’ve implemented support for a… bluetooth shocking bracelet.

It’s called a Pavlok, and it was surprisingly simple to implement compared to all other Bluetooth devices. (don’t worry, I’ll look into that eventually, just a very very big scope thing comparatively; this took a few hours).

I found the idea of breaking the game <-> reality barrier with negative reinforcement pretty interesting compared to positive, so I spent a bit of time adding it! I’m sure this won’t be a hugely popular feature due to the cost, but this is more of a little passion feature kind of thing.

2. During timed punishments, you'll get a consistent loop of shocks. The lower her mood, the harsher the shock.

3. During counted tasks, she'll give you an ever-growing series of shocks. Don't take too long, or it will get harsher and harsher.

Dev Note: This implementation can easily be expanded upon depending on the interest in the feature/device! There's a lot more I could do here, but I’ll need to see some interest first.

Internal loading rework

There are several models of pavloks. Do they all work or does it have to be a specific model?

This is a huge request and I'm aware but in the future are you planning on adding a customization option to the succubus?

The Bluetooth features gave me an idea about whether something like a grip strength device of sorts could be held in one hand while in some of all parts of a session, where the amount you squeeze can be a signal for how close to the edge you are. So in practice she could know exactly how you're doing in real time and adapt/tease/torture/punish accordingly. Especially on stuff like the rhythm section or edging parts and so on. Granted it would be a lot to design and implement, but I can't think of any other game where something like that might be possible to pull off.

Would it be possible to get the app as a sort of overlay or something similar so the user can watch videos in addition to playing the app?

Perhaps, to save yourself from the burden of excessive hardware support, you could add a manual option. "Shock yourself with strength 23", making it a totally generic command where the strength can be customized just as with the Pavlok.

Maybe this would be useful for integrating more hardware support: https://buttplug.io/ There's libraries in Rust, C#, and other languages (not sure what VS is using).

I would be more hype for the Pavlok integration.. if I weren't sent a broken unit back in Sept last year =___= but as it happens, support have me covered so I might be able to test this in time!

Absolutely love the idea of the Succubus being able to physically interact with you. I'd love to see more support for other types of toys if those exist. Something that could sync with when she rewards you with a handjob, etc, that we could actually feel and not have control over would be... pretty incredible. Not sure how possible that is at the moment though.

For more generic e-stim support, how about the DG-LAB Coyote? Active and responsive developer, quite cheap and popular, and it seems like it has the full API published.

Is there a chance to implement a somehow cheaper variant of pavlok. As tempting as it sounds as pricey it is. I really like the idea that the succubus can shock me. With a cheaper toy implemented I would definitely go for that toy.
