Before you ask, yes, that is still the same minotaur. Credit to No-Name-No-Problem, yaddie yadda.
So wtf is going on here? Well I'm messing around with Flip Fluids. Setting this thing up is an outright anyeourism, and there are tons of ways to break what you are doing.
After a careful setup of friction, FLIP/APIC balance and colliders, all I had left was the "Subframes"
SFE's are Sub-Frame Emissions, when the emitter I use to shoot the liquid shoots liquid between two frames more than once.
1SFE: With only 1 emission between two frames of emissions, the liquid does not form a stream. However, the motion blur gives it a fairly authentic look which I like here. Issue here is that the liquid output is marginal, so filling containers or making puddles would be an issue.
2SFE: With just a single extra emission per frame, we immediately get better results with the basin filling. Problem here though, is that it interacts with the surface tension, and forms a super steady unbroken steam, which despite the CLEARLY OVERDONE shaking I used, remains unbroken until impact.
Not super happy with either, but I'll figure it out eventually. And no, I don't plan to use Sheeting. That's madness.
