OK! Full thoughts time! Interesting, the job crystal wasn't quite what I thought- so it means that Mr Marston needs to be able to get guild jobs. Is he trading it on as well- something about imprisonment without one? Or is being an adventurer a way of avoiding legal ramifications? The way that Margaret talks about Cherry as being 'one of us' - is she a child of one of the Gods as well, maybe even Zenion? She is looking a lot more like Sylvia tbh. It would make sense the link, and the kind of... conditional immortality they seem to have. Certainly, Margaret now knows from Curly, but if he is missing, that suggests they aren't *quite* as allied as they have been before. Lol at Enzo having a picture of a woman on the wall- Wolf or Kurt's mum? He seems to like Wolf more (enough to fuck him) so I would guess the former. So we have a rough idea of the number of failed prophecy attempts, at least 6,000. That is a LOT of dead heroes. I guess the Arbiters are victims to continuity because they are actively part of the story, as opposed to observers? 'Someone on Vidora' - so the Eldritch Beings have been imprisoned, perhaps in the ARK? Archdruid even says 'stupid Ark' And this is where my guessing goes wild- maybe because HEART interfered in DA, and part got trapped there, they lacked the strength to resist the creatures that already lived on the planet, allowing them to be sealed. I imagine the Arbiters gained power from the HEART (remaining), ARMS, and EYES respectively, perhaps that being what tied them to the story? Cherry seems to have very fully awoken the remnants of Zenion in him- and I wonder if Zenion originally had the boon of the VOICE - as he seems able to erase memories. I wonder if the Red we see was briefly in the driving seat- and we know the Gods can fuck with memories because Wolf's are fucked up. That hair is becoming horns... And perhaps whatever Zenion is awakening is preventing his issues with magic. Dr Cleric certainly knows more than he is letting on - and I don't agree with his belief the Gods are recognising Cherry positively. The ARK huh... so I think the failure of this ARK was to land on a planet that already had powerful beings on it, like the DA ARK went to a planet without enough resources to sustain it. Also that child thing... I wonder if it is like the tale of Herod, the aim was to kill, or at least take the child of God (Zenion) so he can't grow into a threat- that being Cherry, who as he noticed was pretty much at the age. Wonder if he was hidden away to percent that very thing. I imagine we will learn more in BR

Man, this was a very interesting update. Marston is such a cute, dorky looking gnoll. I feel for him falling on hard times though. Hopefully the job crystal grants him a good job, and turn things around for him for the better. And hopefully he stays in the story enough to become a main character. I love this lanky gnoll~! Margaret is interesting. She really is obsessed with Dom, even mad at him getting piggified by Mr. Curly. A very volatile woman. I wonder if we can used that to our advantage in the future? And I see the arks from Hymir's memory have been raised in HH so soon. Interesting that it seems that the people aren't natively from Vidora. Outsiders given refuge by the gods, maybe? And I'm glad that the kids have been conveniently whisked away from here. Hopefully this doesn't become a plot point soon. Also, dang. Is that the first critical fail? That was extremely unlucky... Glad that some arbiter intervention (Or maybe Cherry's birthright?) came in to save the day. The party seems to be preparing for their first dungeon dive. Hooo boy, I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next~! Especially what jobs are gonna be up for grabs for them! Always excited to read more and more of these. Awesome job Meeks and BC!

Also, can I ask for some clarification on these stats? I know the form shift probably reflected what was going on at the time, but there are some dramatic changes going on there. Most numbers are up across the board, some significantly like Ruin and Stain. But Cherry's gotten strength constantly and feels below where he should be for his levels. And Wolf has the same situation with Silliness, which actually went down despite him getting it every level. Also, both Cherry and Wolf have the same Callousness stat, which feels wrong considering Cherry was always lower on that one.
