Lush's Portfolio Expansion! Week 8!
Added 2024-12-07 20:09:01 +0000 UTCI've finished up the mermaid shoreline painting- after comparing it to the other ocean paintings I've done- I'm actually pretty happy with how the water came out. Still more to learn- but- I like it!
And a more personal indulgent skull piece- I did this one to experiment more with more "extreme" colours. Since I think that I have a tendency towards more muted colours- I wanted to try working with the rainbow- and lots more black and white. I might revisit this idea as I keep practicing- Mixing paints is tricky! It's a skill. +_+
And next week- I'm hoping to try working on a bunch of smaller paintings- each one like- maybe 5 x 5 inches at most. We'll see.
