Branch of the Old Forest: Art (PNGs)

Greetings All!

Back from the two weeks of travel! So get continuing the uploads.

This was an item that was about half refined and decided to hold off until I locked it into a final for upload. I really enjoyed touching on my love of the outdoors for this one. Especially the idea of charges while still having the ability to mold two familiar-like stand ins.

Just as earth and mud as one can get. Keeping it simple in the comments today, going to lean into catch up and prep the rest of the items for this week. Keep a look out for a lot of uploads incoming.

Description:

This branch of twisting wood and bark has sections wrapped in a mixture of leather and faded swamp lily pads. Throughout the ancient bark has begun to sprout fungi and other signs of its age. Near its gnarled head, string is wrapped and hanging freely with a collection of baubles and bones of woodland creatures. All calling back to the age of the forest from where it was hewn.

• Guide to the Old Ways: This staff has 4 Charges and regains 1d4 expended charges daily at Dawn. While held, the user can expend charges to cast the following spells, with a spell attack bonus of +7 or DC:15 and expend additional charge to upcast:
  • 0 Charge: Druidcraft
  • 1 Charge: Fog Cloud
  • 2 Charges: Moonbeam
  • 3 Charges: Speak with Plants
• Self Made Helper: Over the course of one hour, the user can create a Homunculus to assist them using a Bone or Mushroom from the staff as the heart and combining it with a suitable collection of Dirt and Sticks. The creature is friendly to the user and their companions. It obeys the user's spoken or telepathic commands. If no commands are issued, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions. This creature will exist until the user dismisses it as a command or is reverted to 0 HP, at which point it shatters into its base compounds. The user is limited to 2 Homunculi summoned forth at a time, but can only create 1 every 24 Hours.
