Massive Molly makes men look miniature, but it wasn’t always this way. She wasn’t always the massively muscular muscle goddess with mighty female muscles. This is her story, and after reading it, you’re going to agree with her that bigger is better!
The transformation of Molly McKenzie from frail girl to hulking muscle goddess has shattered gender norms. "I've always loved muscles," says Molly, who spent her youth fixated on bodybuilders. She spent hours admiring bodybuilders in magazines, wishing she could have biceps that big and quads that thick. She loved muscles and bigger was always better, and she always believed you could never have too much of a good thing.
At 15, she began lifting weights religiously. She enjoyed getting stronger and seeing her body transform. She loved nothing more than staring at herself for hours on end in the mirror after a hard workout, looking for every single sign of muscle growth. She wanted to see every muscle fiber, every sinew and she celebrated each and every millimeter of growth she gained. And these were hard fought gains. But she knew if she wanted a hardbody, she’d need to train hard.
Molly would say in interviews that, “As a teenager, I first fell in love with my reflection in the gym mirror. In my mind's eye, I saw a much bigger woman with massive muscles that bulged with impossible size. Yet, the reflection gazing back was a pale shadow of the muscular Amazon I dreamed of becoming. But dreams mean nothing without discipline.”
And it wasn’t long before all that discipline and hard work paid off, because within months she was looking at her newly forged hardbody physique in the mirror. And while that made her happy that all her hard work paid off, she wasn’t truly content. The more she trained, the more she wanted - bigger was always better.
“One of my earliest goals was for my arms to outgrow my sleeves. And I was so proud of the day I outgrew the sleeves on all of my old clothes… But, I wasn’t done. I bought new clothes and set new goals.” Molly was quoted when asked of her initial goals in bodybuilding.
Over time, Molly's body ballooned as she attacked the gym with insatiable hunger. Sweeping arm and leg size brought her first amateur titles by age 19. No doubt outgrowing many, many sleeves in the process. But Molly's success only stoked her appetite for growth. "I knew I could get much bigger. I could see the woman I wanted to be right there in the mirror in front of me," she said. Under a brutal training regimen, Molly just kept right on packing on size. By the time she turned pro she was already a bonafide heavy weight and already one of the biggest women in the whole wide world.
And just in her second year of pro competition she was competing on the grandest stage of all, the Ms. Universe Bodybuilding Competition. Her presence was felt as soon as she stepped out on stage as she immediately dominated the competition with her incredible size. Her legs looked like tree trunks, rumbling the stage with every pose. Her biceps peaked to such heights and swelled so large that her biceps loomed over all the other women on the stage. And this is a stage that had three former Ms. Olympia’s all on it at the same time.
The former champions gazed upon this muscle monster in disbelief. They knew they weren’t just outclassed, but outmuscled by this young muscular phenom. And she won that first title of hers hands down. Making the other females on the stage look like rank amateurs next to her.
When asked about the young muscular upstart, the now dethroned last year’s champion eyed Molly nervously and said, "I didn't think it was possible for a woman to get that big!"
When told about the ex-champions response, Molly chuckled and said confidently, "Just wait until next year, I'll be even bigger."
And bigger she got. Twelve months of hardcore training fueled by her competitive drive led to sweeping changes in her physique. When she stepped onstage to defend her title, the difference was jaw-dropping.
Every muscle was thicker, harder, more defined, but more importantly they were bigger and so much larger. And once again all the other women on the stage just looked all that much smaller. Yet, once again these were the absolutely biggest, most muscular women in the entire world, and they might as well not have even been on the same stage as Molly. She just outclassed and outmuscled them again.
And it might surprise the reader, that Molly wasn’t the only woman who hit that stage bigger, and bulkier, beefier, and better than the year prior. The average weigh in weight for the top 8 runner ups was up by 7.8 pounds. That’s almost 8-pounds of rock-hard feminine muscle added a piece for each of those women. Cut me off a piece of that beefcake!
Remarking backstage after her victory Molly told reporters at the time, "I knew I had to come in bigger and better this year. It isn’t just me that showed up bigger, but all the other women. But, once I stepped out on that stage, I could feel all eyes on my massive arms, carved legs, and thick, powerful core and I knew I was the biggest woman up there by far… But, I knew I was wasn’t big enough. Winning again while such a rush, was also bittersweet. As excited as I was, I couldn't ignore that inner voice saying I could've been even larger. There's always room for more muscle, more growth. I'll spend the next year chasing that ideal, pushing my body to pack on even more size. Bigger is always the goal."
And come the next year she once again defied all expectations and showed up once again even bigger, buffer, and way, way better, dooming all the hopes and expectations of any of the fellow Ms. Universe competitor’s chances of winning.
Really for the last three years the only competition was for runner up. Yet, most of the competitors were not bitter about this, while undoubtedly they were jealous and envious of Molly’s muscular physique. It also helped motivate and inspire them.
Backstage one of the runner ups commented, "Losing to Molly again only inspires me. Her bigger, more muscular body proves what the female body is capable of - if you're willing to push beyond what anyone thinks is possible."
And once again it wasn’t just Molly who pushed female muscularity to its limits, as the average weight for all competitors was over 10 full pounds heavier than the year prior. Talk about a real anatomical arms race going on between all the women on that stage. Each building up their arms to mountainous muscular proportions in the hopes to be the girl with the biggest and bulgiest biceps on stage.
However, Molly makes all the girls muscular mountains look like molehills when compared next to her muscular peaks.
After winning the Ms. Universe title three consecutive years in a row, Molly had conquered the world of women's bodybuilding. One would have to think that she had to feel like she was on the top of the world itself, but the massive Amazon wasn't satisfied. "Winning was great, but I knew I could be bigger," she said.
She must have felt the very weight of the world itself, which is only fitting since Molly has a muscular physique that rivals that of the mighty mythological titan Atlas, with shoulders just as wide and perhaps strong enough to have the entire weight of the world on her shoulders.
And when asked what it meant to be a three time Ms. Universe champion she said, “This is the biggest stage in the world, with the biggest women in the world, and I’m the biggest woman of all… But, I want more. I want to be even bigger.”
When asked what could be even bigger than being the biggest woman in the world Molly just smiled, leaving us to wonder just what she meant by that statement… And if it was even possible for a woman to become even bigger than what she was now.
The whole bodybuilding world was excited for just how big she could be, or would be at next year’s competition… However, at that contest she failed to defend her title. She had failed to show up, and seemingly went from having the weight of the world on her shoulders to falling off the face of the world.
Rumors swirled that she was injured… Or that she’d burnt out and given up bodybuilding altogether… No one knew for certain as she just disappeared. And you’d think a woman with her muscularity that she’d be easy to find. But no one knew where she vanished to; we just knew that she was gone.
Which meant that for the first time in three years a new Ms. Universe was crowned. And after winning her title this is what she had to say, "Although I've won, I wish Molly was here to challenge me. She pushed us to get bigger, bringing out our best. I want her to return to this stage- bigger than ever before. And I want to be there and challenge her, just like she’s always challenged me."
But come this year’s championship once again Molly McKenzie was once again absent from the Ms. Universe contest stage… However, that doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a big surprise regarding her return to bodybuilding competition.
And it was a big surprise, a surprise that sent shock waves throughout the entire bodybuilder world. As she did in fact come back and compete for a world title… The Mr. Universe title itself. She was a surprise entry and it was only when she stepped out onto the stage itself was it known, and once again what a surprise it was.
Because when Molly stepped on stage at this year's Mr. Universe contest, the crowd gasped. She wasn’t just bigger and better than ever, her muscles were massive, so massive that her muscularity was dwarfing that of the male competitors. Molly's muscles had gone from massive to gargantuan.
Throughout her prior three Ms. Universe wins she easily dwarfed her fellow female competitors, and again surprisingly and shockingly the men fared no better against her. As she hit her poses, her muscles rippled with power, like a gathering storm. Arm to arm, chest to chest, and thigh to thigh she didn’t just measure up against the men, with each pose and each flex she outmuscled and outclassed them. They were the ones that just couldn’t measure up, her muscular might easily eclipsing theirs.
The men stared in awe and disbelief as this goddess of sheer enormity flexed beside them. They were used to being the largest on stage; now they were among the smallest. Flex after flex Molly belittled them with her massive muscular flexing display. She didn’t just have the size, she had the condition, the vascularity, and was the total complete package.
She had the brawn, and was by far the most beautiful contestant on the stage, and had not just the biggest biceps, but the biggest muscles. As she strutted about the stage, the other men fled her orbit, fearful of posing next to her, each hoping to avoid as much humiliation as possible.
Yet, there was no escaping her orbit, she was just too massive to escape, and there was no avoiding the humiliating sting of defeat for the men. Several of whom were left darkened in her shadow as they posed for the posedown on the stage. The spotlight was firmly on her, and the men were lost in the giant shadow that her massive muscles cast. She easily out-posed and outmuscled all comers, becoming the first female to ever win a pro men's bodybuilding title. Reporters swarmed her, asking how she'd gotten so enormous.
To which she just laughed and said, “Hard work. You can’t have a hardbody like this without hardwork, and it takes lots and lots of hard work.”
The defeated men struggled to find words. "I've never seen a woman with arms that big, her arms are as big as my thighs and I’ve never ever missed leg day," said one. Another added, "I train so hard and still feel small next to her."
When asked where she was last year, Molly chuckled. "I told y'all, I wasn't done getting bigger yet. Winning Ms. Universe three times in a row was amazing, but I wanted a whole new kind of challenge...and I got it. It took a little bit of time to get this body, but I think the results were worth it."
And having won the Mr. Universe bodybuilding title against the strongest male field in recent history, one would agree that the results were worth the wait.
Backstage some of the male bodybuilders grumbled that it wasn’t fair that she was allowed to compete in their competition. When asked if it was fair, she laughed "What, that I have bigger muscles than them? They should've hit the gym harder. I can’t help it that it’s not fair they’re tiny next to me. I just want to compete against the biggest competition around." Molly vowed to return next year "bigger than ever and the men better be prepared… And if not then maybe I’ll go back and compete with the big girls."
When asked about her future, Molly smiled. "I'm going to even train harder. I'll come back next year a monster, makes these boys look like babies." Event organizers are excited yet nervous. "Molly's muscles seem to grow exponentially with each passing year. There may not be a division that can hold her soon." Molly remains unfazed. "I'll be as big or bigger than I want. Size is the only thing that matters now, and I know I can get even bigger and better."
Without a doubt she’s the biggest thing in bodybuilding right now and people can’t wait to see just how big she’ll be on stage next year. However, some people are thinking that next year Molly will be back on the Ms. Universe stage. Not because she’s giving up competing against the men, but because some are saying that’s where the real challenge will be. As most of the women in this year’s Ms. Universe competition measure up closely to those of the men. So it might only be a matter of time till woman’s bodybuilding eclipses male bodybuilding, just like how Massive Molly has eclipsed all the men in bodybuilding today.
The future indeed may be bright not just for Molly, but for all female bodybuilders out there, and that might mean darker days ahead for the men if they don’t get active and involved in the bodybuilding arms race.
