Apropos of Nothing
Added 2025-08-04 19:43:39 +0000 UTCBut I've been taking a mental break for a day or so, and catching up with comics that I haven't read yet. The one that I'm enjoying one hell of a lot, is the Secret Six, from DC. They were a team that started in the 60's, but this group came out of the Infinite Crisis event back in 2004/2005. The characters are out and out killers, but the primary character is an old Batman/Green Arrow villain called CatMan, and he's the one who has the potential to do the Ol' Heel Face Turn. All of the characters are interesting as hell, especially a character I've loved since John Ostrander's run of the Suicide Squad back in the 80's, and that's Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot, and I honestly have no idea what they were thinking getting Will Smith to play the character, it doesn't make sense.
Anyway, if you are in the market for something different to read, your best bet would be the Villains United 6 Part Mini-Series, then the title goes back to Secret Six. I've only read the issues written by Gail Simone, and they are choice!
