The choice to shoot in monochrome isolates shape and light, stripping away distraction and letting texture, shadow, and geometry guide the viewer’s eye.
The architectural lines of the hotel pull the scene toward the horizon, while the soft backdrop of palm trees and ocean contrast with the stark, almost graphic elements of the balcony and glass.
