Well, actually, if it came to movies, I was thinking of something more akin to Django, or 12 Years a Slave... But at the last minute, I wasn't very sure if that would be a good idea, so I backed off. Keep in mind that as a Spanish person, I sometimes lack context for what might be offensive in the US, and I didn't want to take any risks. Perhaps some American can clear up whether I did the right thing, or instead, I was worrying about something silly that wouldn't have offended anyone.
