This is the Definitive Edition release of Hauthell: Era 1. Below, you'll find new map expansions, VTT tokens, the edited borough guide, a map asset pack, bonus goodies, and more! These releases are always huge projects for us, so please let us know if anything is missing, if links are broken, or if anything else seems wrong.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier can download absolutely every piece of content we've created for Hauthell: Era 1 by heading to the Hauthell: Era 1 - Everything Bundle in our Patreon Shop.

Borough Guide

Patrons at the General Messenger and Chief Courier tier can now download the Definitive Edition Borough Guide! We fixed a few errors and added a table of contents. Most importantly, everything is now contained in a single 107-page PDF! You can grab the Definitive Edition PDF via this link.

VTT Tokens

All patrons can download the full suite of Hauthell: Era 1 VTT Tokens via this link. Many of these NPCs remain more or less anonymous, so they should be useful even for campaigns outside of Hauthell!

Foundry Module

The Hauthell Foundry module is completed! The whole setting is implemented (with all of the variant maps and eras!), interior maps are in place, and music + PDF are all ready to use as well. Patrons at the Chief Courier tier can grab the Hauthell Foundry Module via the Chief Courier Master Post. If you notice any issues with the Foundry module, please just ping us, and we'll make sure to edit and update ASAP!

Maps

There was no big map to stitch together for this Definitive Edition release, as the Hauthell maps advanced through time instead of space [... my apologies for how sci-fi that sounds]. Instead, we decided to return to maps 01 - 03 and update them to be the full size of the later releases. This massively increases the amount of countryside visible, and thus the total play area. Patrons at the Delivery Kid tier can download the expanded version of the Original maps via this link, while patrons at higher tiers can get the full suite via this link.

Map Assets

We've released another set of map assets! This bundle of modular, tileable ground assets includes 10 .jpgs of roads, cobblestone, and grass. These are the perfect building blocks with which to start your maps: lay a handful of these down and then start plopping buildings, trees, and other assets atop them! With these ground assets, you can completely transform your custom maps, whether you use DungeonDraft, Inkarnate, MS Paint, or any other map-making software. We release new asset bundles with each Definitive Edition but only for our Chief Courier patrons!

Forever Fallow is a new track by our composer that perfectly captures the somber, quite, pastoral moods of both early and late Hauthell. Throw this ambient track on whenever you need something a bit moody during Hauthell explorations.
Prosperity is a beautiful track by our friend ASKII, one of the finest composers of fantasy music anywhere in the world. Majestic female vocals, frigid strings, and emotive piano plinking evokes an urban fantasy setting with more nuance than your typical D&D fare. ASKII has albums upon albums of stunningly beautiful fantasy music that you simply must incorporate into your tabletop campaigns.
