diary: pacman nuked my system
Added 2025-03-19 23:31:24 +0000 UTClong story short, few day ago I updated my computer (sudo pacman -Syu) and she self nuked her superblock & friends to hell ~ had to downgrade mobo/ram/cpu (not some haunted MSI gamer bs) ~ then I migrated to VOID ~ I'm happy it happened but I lost a fair amount of data / art made the past few years~ i.e. lost the supercollider beat looper, samples, some recent paintings ~ probably lost a bunch of other ish I am blissfully forgetting ~ this is no burden on my mind.
Perhaps most important thing to me that I didn't lose was the most recent version of my Renpy game with all the gui fixed up on that moon eclipse... I fell in love with that foundation using things like DejaVu & a few quickmenu buttons ~ most of the renpy default UI layout more or less in tact. There might be a thing or two today I need to tamper this new void system ~ I designed it to be purely focused on only making a VN ~ I only DL the essential packages and set up configs to do one thing well and nothing else.
Today or tmmw, this animation 10f paper sample pack coming in mail~ I'm throwing myself into trad drawing and will be sharing results when ready. I have some of the arches watercolor paper left and will put those on my kofi when they ready for $.
