A Hydra Heron and a Rare Pupper!

Today I have a portrait of "Lilly" done for a recent commission! I had a lot of fun with this one, and it actually had a bit of watercolor underpainting in it, which was fun to get back to for a bit. (It will be on a playmat in the near future, and I will post more about that when it releases!)

I also have the final hi-res for the #LETSDRAWMONSTERS for April, The Hydra Heron.

The Hydra Heron is #24 in the series, and while it won't be the last monster we will do in the series, it will likely be the final one that we will be packing into Annie and I'd forthcoming #LETSDRAWMONSTERS Book featuring all the creatures since we began the series!

We will be launching pre-orders for the book soon (probably in early July) and will doing a big event for the launch including some big give-aways. Until then, we will be spending a few weeks on Twitch touching up some of the previous entries to get them ready for print, and adding further detail and refinement to some that we *may* have rushed just a bit trying to beat our 2-hour challenge time...

I really enjoyed working on this one live on stream. We will be working on a new one soon. (Either The Griffpotamus, the Snow Serpent, or the Owligator....) More on that soon! Thanks again everyone for hanging out with us on stream, and helping to make this one uhhhh...
