Martian of the Month: The Leviath Invader

Today I have a new (and very small) sinister martian to share with you. Though quite small, the Leviath have an oversized sense of self-importance. They are given to piracy and the use of unlicensed electrical weaponry. Quite recently discovered, not much is known about them.

#1. Our Project Reveal announcement for what the Martian of the Month actually is, just went up here on Patreon! So in case you missed it, and want to know just what the heck is going on here, check that out. It should be the post right before this one.

#2. This month has a NEW brush set! This new set has 2 brushes which have become the work-horses for much of my imagery, particularly the underpainting and the backgrounds. These 2 are the REKT ones. They offer a version that is smooth and predictable, and then another that is chaotic and leaves a trail of broken crystal in its wake. I use the one for intentional shape creation, and the other for offering the suggestion of texture and noise. 

The set also offers 2 of my new favorite space background brushes. One that does dynamite nebulas, and another that does stars. They are both meant to simulate a more watercolor approach to space backgrounds:

#3. New Feature! Patreon now lets me upload higher res files. So I have uploaded the brush set directly to this post which will hopefully save everyone some headaches.  You should be able to download the brush set right from the attachments at the bottom of this post. (This is the first time we are doing this, so let me know if this feature does not work for you!)

Lots more coming this year! As the game continues to be developed, these Martian character posts will also likely change a bit too. Along with the Creature Guide, I will also start mixing in posts showing their character traits, stats, and ability cards. (I am really excited about these ability cards, and wish I could share them all now, but they are not quite ready to go yet...)
