Of Saints and Sinners

Hey folks!

Work on the Prince of Persia conclusion is coming along. I hope you guys liked the first half!

I've been re-reading Frank Miller's Sin City anthology. It's aged very well. The movie was one of my favs of the 2000s. I used to work at a movie rental when it came out and the trailer used to play all the time in the store.

It's still a banger of a movie trailer! When the music kicks in . . . ooof! πŸ‘Œ

As you can tell from my body of works, one of my go-to erotic themes is age gap. And That Yellow Bastard had one of the best setups in mainstream comics! You can tell Frank Miller's got the same itch and probably wanted to have Hartigan and Nancy go all the way, but just couldn't quite get it done in the mainstream.

But I certainly can! 😈

I think this might make for a sweet short comic in the future. πŸ˜‰

For now, it was just a sweet creative experiment with noir lighting and effects. Also, creating my version of Nancy was def fun! πŸ˜‹

Check out the movie if you've never seen it. Bruce Willis playing Hartigan has to be one of the best casting choices. It's especially poignant since he's got advanced dementia now. He's one of the greats! ✊

Also, I'll take a moment to plug my website. It's available to all my patrons and acts as a backup in case my Patreon ever goes down or I get banned. So please bookmark it.

Cheers, folks! See you guys in a few days for a Prince of Persia preview!

For me, the best story about an age gap is that of Alice and Seymour. It's very funny to see how Alice confesses that, when it comes to Seymour, Alice's heart is the one that rules, and how Alice took over the old man. The sad thing is that Seymour will die.

Haha! It's definitely on my list of short comics. Going forward I'm going to lean more on doing shorter, punchier comics! πŸ˜„

Thanks, man! Yeah, it's a great anthology! Very true about Marv/Mickey Rourke. That role revived his career.

Amazing as always ! I LOVE Sin City. The cast for Marv is also spot on with Mickey Rourke
