I started playing The Last of Us Remake a couple months ago. I really love the franchise and its brutal world building. Given my penchant for bad endings, I thought one of the most grotesque fates that could've befallen Ellie was either being eaten by David and his cannibals . . . or accepting his proposal to join them.
David has to be one of the most calculating and creepy villains in gaming history. And Naughty Dog already insinuated heavily in this scene that he's a PDF file. One of his henchmen even called Ellie his "newest pet". ๐คฎ
Through Murphy's Law, I envisioned a timeline where Ellie forestalls her execution by pretending to be taken in by David. But this move misfires and David does take Ellie as his "pet".
Years pass, and now a 19-year-old Ellie is wife to David and they have two children together. Her early pregnancy trapped her in the relationship and the tribe. She couldn't risk escaping with babies in tow.
Too bad I couldn't find David's model from the game, so I had to approximate. Modeling is not my strong suit. ๐
This makes for one of my most darkest yet somewhat cathartic tales. I hope you all enjoy it!
