Transition

Hey folks!

Here's this month's edition of Spent Rounds.

I'm busy concluding the final scene in the Power Girl comic.  Things are proceeding well, if a little slowly.  I've developed carpal tunnel in my right wrist from working continuously on renders, so I have to take things a bit slower so I don't make it worse.  But don't worry, I'll be releasing it as soon as I can with room to spare for the rest of the month.

As mentioned previously, this is a transition month.  I'm finishing a major project (PG) to start on the Dark Knight-ess.  It's been a while since I had to shift my mind's eye onto another character, especially one as dynamic as Batgirl.  Been studying the character sketches of Otto Schmidt to get excited about our new girl.  ☝

This new comic has been challenging to storyboard.  For one thing, I have to think about three very complex characters - Batgirl, The Joker, and Harley Quinn - all of whom have major roles in the comic.  This is a departure from the relative "ease" of working on Power Girl, with Kara really being the only character with some depth.  There were some aspects to Fisher as well, but not as well developed as the Woman of Steel.

Batgirl will also be harder to render for certain technical reasons - her clothing, skin, and body morphs require minute customization.  The one thing that'll be easier is her having normal-sized tits.  As much as I love me them big funbags, Power Girl's massive boobs came with their own set of challenges.  I can't believe I'm happy about reverting back to the mean.  😆

I'm going to try to get a nice Batgirl prologue slice for you guys this month.  I kindly ask for your patience as it might not be as hefty an update as you all are used to due to all the other work I have to do to conclude Power Girl.
