Here’s what changes for subscribers:
Automatic redirect: when you tap “Subscribe” in the iOS app, you’ll be sent to your browser (Safari or Chrome) instead of completing the payment inside the app.
More payment options: you can use Apple Pay on the web, credit/debit cards, PayPal or Venmo—no App Store–only restrictions.
No extra fees: the price you see is the amount the creator receives, with no 30 % cut taken by Apple.
One extra step: you’ll click through from the app to your browser and may need to log in or confirm payment details—but the process is fast and straightforward.
