Also, you're almost right about the treaty thing. Gratianus and his people are not joining the Askeladds' unit, but they agreed to pick the prince/Askeladds' unit up with their boat and allow them to pass through the land of Wales on the condition that he sign a treaty that he would not interfere in Wales when he became king of England, Wales' next neighborhood.

2024-02-22 05:07:05 +0000 UTCYโall need to remember that Thorfinnโs sister is way older. You try to find her everywhere ๐ . And she has wavy hair. Leaf (yes) itโs just seeing Thorfinn in that kid. And assuming thatโs what he is going through, been a slave through this day. I was equally confused with Canute for awhile, but I think theyโre just emphasising how soft he looks and how soft and week itโs his energy. So obviously everyone protecting him (including Askeladd) is worried if he would be a good leader, since he always need uncle ConeHead to speak for him and protect him, so theyโre also questioning why the king sent his son there to lead the troops if heโs so frail.
