I have some exciting WIPs to show you! ๐คฉ
I started working on a new painting inspired by Botanical Gardens. ๐ฟ๐ I want to feature a woman wearing a gorgeous Ao Dai. This character is the garden keeper and grows flowers and plants native to Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam. I want to add more magical elements to this piece, so I'm considering incorporating magical architectural designs. โจ
I've also gotten back to painting traditionally, so I started painting a study of a flower vase from Carolina Elizabeth ๐ผ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
I was so happy with how this study turned out! I felt like a kid again mixing colours and getting my hands messy haha! ๐
I felt very ambitious the next day, so I decided to paint a landscape piece! Here's the WIP: ๐๐
I'm very happy with the process so far! Painting traditionally gives me quite a break from the screen and allows me to discover new painting methods!
