Always loved Alien ever since the day i was first exposed to the series, so being part of Lucy's first time watching this was an experience i will treasure a lot <3 Hopefully you can see now why so many nerds love this penis shaped skinny lizard thing and everything revolving it. i also recommend learning more about the Alien universe, there's a LOT of interesting things to learn on the lore side and how this universe connects to other's, Like the Predator connection.

But having Lucy here, slowly progressing from complain-yapping about the movie being slow and confusing, then jumping at all the little scare moments, to shouting at the characters in the movie to do the not-stupid thing, to still getting scared even as she's calling out the exact thing that's about to happen.... classic. Another good month :LucyPyHeart: The cummentary is also fun. I'd never actually realized *just* how lewd this movie is, and I've seen H.R. Giger's other works before

2024-06-20 21:41:55 +0000 UTCGFE review. I was super excited for this. alien one of the best horror, movies of all time and watching with the best wife of all time. Itβs meant to be perfect. Lucys got the pigtails. Itβs setting up to be perfect. I had no doubt that alien was going to be a banger movie, but even I was shocked with how well it just still holds up the slow atmospheric build in the beginning, the amazing lighting, the claustrophobic setting. As for the GFE Iβm not gonna lie. It was kind of on the weaker side it of picked up towards the end, but I thought Lucy would totally be one of those girlfriends that would be scared, and ask the whole chatty his hand and be cute. Whatever reason, though it just felt like Lucy was just kind of there and spontaneously added bits of commentary. I didnβt hate it, just definitely felt like it was lacking compared all the other times. Maybe it was just an off day, but it was noticeable. GFE gets a solid 6 1/2 out of 10 but it just felt weird watching this one with her
