Hey guys!

So we're nearing a full year since I started this Patreon Page, and first I want to thank all you guys for supporting me! I didn't expect much from this, maybe a little supplemental income, but now there's 600+ of you supporting me.

However, as grateful as I am, I have to admit these last two months have been rough. Before I began on Patreon, I published my FF works on platforms very irregularly, one chapter a month usually, sometimes more sometimes less. But since starting this, I wanted to give regular content for the people who were paying for it. Now I've been writing about 50k words per month, aiming for at least three chapters per month.

That's work that I've been doing in addition to my regular job. As you might imagine, I've had practically no free time since I started this page.

You might've noticed that there were only two chapters last month. That's mostly why. Thankfully I'm in a much more stable period in my life so I can sink all my time into this, but as the number of people paying for my works has grown I've certainly felt pressured to get something out every week, even if I don't have the time.

Like I said before, when I created this page I didn't expect much of it. I also priced it with the intention of doing one, maybe two chapters per month, but with my excitement at the page's growth, I've been doing a lot more than that. I've also looked around at similar artists on Patreon and realized I might've priced my membership lower than most.

So, the point of all of this; Viewing this as less of 'supplemental income' and more of a second part-time job, I've made the decision to increase the price of my membership for 3 USD to 5 USD.

If I had to choose between my 'real job' and this, I'd absolutely choose this. However, I can't just drop everything and write full-time. Right now my page is not enough to quit my job and still pay the bills, but moving forward that would be my ideal scenario. Hopefully, this will at least let me switch to part-time work soon.

Right now, I can't promise this change will instantly result in more content per month, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction!

All that being said, I just want to say that I still love to write. Despite now calling this a 'job' this is still my passion project. While I've felt some pressure to pump out content for you guys, I still really enjoy writing.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope to be writing here for a long time!

I understand, take care of yourself first! I definitely intend on writing more Hogwarts Ledger seeing the positive feedback from that one. (Probably this month, we'll see) And gauging which of my shorter stories people would prefer to see more of.

I'm in a relatively tight spot myself, and I'm not sure I can justify $5 for one chapter of Horny Witches a month. One Piece ain't really my jam, so that's kinda what my value judgement ends up being, I know that you ARE technically offering more. Dunno.
