Random Nuggets!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm looking forward to returning to The Infinity Device after a few more chapters of Bx Drops. Hurray!
For those of you curious why I didn't jump right back into it, hehe, the main barrier is that I haven't read the story in years, and it exists in various versions, and my notes are scattered. I've been slowly reacquainting myself with it! (I haven't quite decided if I'll start with a direct continuation or something else.)
To get back into the writing groove, I picked Bx Drops as it approximates a favorite fantasy of mine I've been thinking about a lot. Of course, it hasn't quite translated as well to erotica as I had hoped. For one, I think my writing style has been overcomplicating what should be a simpler 'pop the pill' story. For another, I think The Infinity Device simply has a more enjoyable mechanism that better hits my favorite aspects: An agent in control, gradualness, resistance, repetition.
(In Chapter IV, for instance, I considered just swapping in an Infinity Device for the pills, but ultimately decided to finish it out with Bx drops.)
And originally, Bx Drops was going to be a very sweet story. It was going to be about a loving normal couple that finds a bag of pills that would alter reality for just 24 hours, before snap! you'd lurch back to the moment you took them.
Since there was no consequences, the couple was going to take turns each day telling the other what to take. And if it was a change you were squeamish with, who cares? Just for 24 hours. And then you get the pills and get to ask her to change radically. And she'll agree for the same reason.
I'll probably return to that story in the future! I have some of it finished, but when I was working on it felt a bit to character-centric.

In this Bx Drops version, I've really enjoyed writing Hannah and Emily, and I feel like I've done them fairly well. (I especially like writing Emily, as I like characters with a sense of humor and more awareness.) And I think shifting to first person made things much, much better. And I feel this last chapter was significantly better than the previous ones.
Wei was a late addition. I'm looking forward to swapping his kinks with Emily in the future! I've recently been enjoying changes in assertiveness. (As you guys know, I like people turning into their opposites.)
What I've been reading: Have you guys read For the People ? Some parts I really enjoy, especially around Chapter 7. Also Pan's Irene Imprecations.
What I've been staring at: I've been flabbergasted by these (NSFW) breasts. desperate to include them in a story in a future. They certainly look like something an Infinity Device might produce!

2020-07-28 15:41:14 +0000 UTCWith BX drops Current form it could lead to more flipping characters on their head and drastic changes over time as well as them coming to terms with said changes. This might not be as easily explored in one offs. Not saying some one offs wouldn’t be fun though🤔

On a side note, I have been editing some writing for someone that has been writing a story inspired by your work with Infinity Device. It is more overtly sexual but I really enjoy what he is written. I would have to ask if he’s cool with me sharing it with you but I’m sure he would love to get your opinion ( if nothing else) if you are open to it. Either way. Very happy to have you back writing. Hope you are able to keep bringing us these incredibly interesting ideas you have.
