Today, I arrived at a hotel with a breathtaking view. Behind the swimming pool lies an expansive tea plantation that stretches as far as the eye can see. The weather is extremely cold, but I had to get into the pool for everyone to watch. Honestly, I didn’t want to go in; the cold was so intense it was almost shocking. If I were a man, it would have been even more challenging, but luckily, as a woman, I didn’t have that concern. At first, upon entering the water, I was shivering all over—my mouth and body trembling. It was quite torturous, like plunging into an ice bath. However, after about 2 to 3 minutes, my body began to adjust, and the temperature felt warmer. When I got out, I felt refreshed. The cold here is intense for me. The locals can adapt, but as a Thai person from a tropical country, this feels like winter to me. Nevertheless, being here brings me joy. I hope you enjoy the photos I’ve posted now.
