Future & Metro Boomin - We STILL Don't Trust You | FIRST REACTION

Nights like this, jealous, crazy clientele, streets made me a king my takeaways. Solid album but it was repetitive

Y'all didn't know wtf u wanted 😂

Indigo,

my other piece on all this. people saying “his lyrics won’t hit the same” a lot of people would be disappointed if they knew half these rappers don’t live what they write. In the same breath you can say “the is entertainment” if that is the case who cares if he lives up to his lyrics to a T? if it’s entertainment just let it ride if nothing “real” is going to happen from this beef anyway. I’m hurt by the whole situation from cole as well but if there’s 2 lyrics that stood out to me that made me look at this situation different. “ you win some, you lose some, that's just how it happens And if a nigga step up to you, then you gotta scrap 'em Your name is all you got, throwing hands by the bathroom” - too deep for the intro and “saying my name in a verse will get you killed” - stickz and stonez. The 2 instances cole responded to a rapper was what? lil pump and YB both clearly and directly name dropped him. Did kendrick say his name in like that? no, he’s being CONSISTENT! the F the big 3 line isn’t diss to me as well as many. that was the competitive side of kendrick coming out in my eyes he not worried about anyone else but himself and that’s all he acknowledges. Now to the apology. this is where i’m 60/40 on because like he said if someone steps up to you the you gotta scrap em cuz ya name is all you got and you gotta protect it. obviously he was pressured into responding i don’t think he should’ve been the first to respond, but his “disrespect” towards kendrick was public so he HAS to apologize publicly. it’s only right. as fans we love cole because he is authentic him apologizing behind closed doors if there was a misunderstanding between him and kenny that’s not being consistent which a lot of fans want from him right now due to his lyrics so we can’t be hypocrites in that sense. in life you gotta pick your battles and him “competing” with kendrick while he’s engaging in another beef with drake it’s looks corny having 2 peoples fire at the same dude just how this 20v1 is corny. whose to say this showdown between cole and kendrick doesn’t happen after all this is settled? beef has always been personal without it it’s pointless so if someone can inform me what cole what VALUABLE contribution cole would’ve added to this 20v1 im all ears

THIS!

SIMO

Felt extremely similar. Hard to not want another album full of bangers knowing what’s possible. Out Of My Hands tho😮‍💨😮‍💨

Miles

My only issue with people sayin drake 1v20 or callin him the underdog is he's been throwing subliminals out for a minute now. Dude brought it on himself. And we all know jimmy brooks not really like that. So sounds like everybody fake as far as I'm concerned, we either care about it for everybody or we don't care about it at all.

oaka

i think people gets cole’s “aggressive” style wrong. Cole wants to murder people ON SONGS in a competitive manner. But the BEEF that’s going on now can we honestly say it’s a competitive? it’s personal beef amongst a bunch of people that has nothing to do with him. like i’m curious as to what people think he would’ve contributed to all of this. he has no dirt on drake, you want him to piggyback off what we already know publicly? no issue with ross, no issue with future. he is the epitome of a bystandard rn and removed himself. i just firmly believe he wanted to compete amongst his peers and word got to him that this beef is PERSONAL. does that mean i like the apology? no but i understand stepping down. he should’ve read the room first before dropping the diss

The debate on red leather about Cole was great

Joseph Cebula

listen to what cole says in middle child. maybe he just sticking to what he was saying in that song

Kyle

I know exactly what Darae means cole probably tried to put on a persona or even really did think he was that guy and could kill anyone on a song but when it actually came down to it he realized thats not who he really is. Shit like that happens all the time as a human trying to experience life you think you really are something and maybe you even believe it fully until you get tested and realize your character isn't what you thought.

Magma

regardless ya’ll found the vibe and stayed true to what ya’ll feel👏🏼

Hyperaware

Damn I wish ya’ll didnt already set in your mind its gonna be a diss album. If it were the same vibe, it would be redundant and exhausting getting through 25 tracks of just high energy, and just We dont trust you V.2. They wanted to release a double album for a reason, and this is a sonically great album. Metro just evolving the game even more with the new sound.

Hyperaware

Cole was w Future and Metro in February, I'm guessing that's when he laid the verse down

Elhak

After hearing the album ~4-5 times now I'm like 80% sure the whole R&B section is about the girl Future and Drake are beefing over. There are a lot of very specific lines that add up to the same situation / person, and that person going off and sleeping w his boy. It gives a lot of those R&B verses interesting context. Basically he said fuck Drake in the rap album, and then used the R&B album to say "fuck you I don't trust you for that, but i still love you" to his ex.

Elhak

"have y'all ever done that before" is real af 💀

Levi

Cole was lowkey playing chess LMFAO

So Lao

Nah Prince, Cole still rap better than Drake lol

Kreative

I always appreciate y'all's raw energy and work ethic. tapped in 🔥

Levi

I resonate with my nigga in the blue so much man, that explanation piece during Red Leather was great, just puts the thoughts into words effortlessly to make sense 👏🏾
