2023-05-24 19:49:44 +0000 UTCYeah, I agree with the Young Money take. There’s definitely a case to be made for aftermath, but everything I can say for them, I feel like I can say for Young Money x10. I do think there is a good argument for 50 having the brightest flame when he was out. But even with that, a strong argument could be made for Wayne. Carter III sold a million first week and then Wayne released Carter IV 3 years later and sold just under a milli again. Obviously, the mixtape run was crazy too, but what really stands out is the feature game. There was a time where you couldn’t turn on the radio and not hear Wayne. He was on every song, no matter the genre. He then brought on Drake and Nicki who have gone on to be even bigger than him in some aspects. Young Money vs Jay, Ye, and Rihanna is a TOUGH matchup
