Its part of a trilogy of movies with the third being split, & “sold your soul for an easy break” is a play on mr glass’ character because he was born with a condition where his bones were weak & would often break. He becomes a villain hence the “sold your soul”

Crip Mac is a rapper from New Orleans with a couple 5s tattooed on his face. The track Makin It, Ran is givin props to Nas since Nas has a track called "Life Is What You Make It". Beautiful Gravesites - "Stand up n*gga, get hurt wit they flag like Jonathan Isaac". Jonathan Issac was the first NBA player to stand during the anthem in protest, then got injured straight after. / Gangbangers, reppin their flags also. I'm missing something with the make your Jordans Peel line cause there's also an actor Jordan Peele. Black Chakra finishes his verse with naming almost every ransom album/mixtape: crime scene, directors cut, heavy is the head, coup de grace, ransom notes, pain & glory, street cinemas, history of violence. Today is new music Friday and I ain’t got time for nothing else.. a week in and I haven’t stopped listening..! I’m pretty certain I won’t listen to much else (if anything at all) til Kendrick next week..
