Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. i really like this episode because of how the prisoners were adapting to the new world. i don’t know what the short guy and big tiny’s crimes were but axel (white guy with long hair) and oscar were in for drugs and robbery not for murder and i hope rick would give them the benefit of the doubt seeing how many redeeming qualities they have rick is good at seeing that in people and it’s a matter of time before the group will have to adapt to hershel only having one foot you’re right the food and supplies is bare minimum but it’s so much better than nothing especially with an injury what they’ve taken won’t last more than a few days but with all the constant running i’m sure it’s a blessing. i’m glad you guys are still imagining shane in these scenarios (i don’t personally ENJOY him) but i LOVE seeing youre perspective on it and it’s actually given me some new perspective too he would be doing things A LOT different from hardcore rick which shows that rick still has his reasonable side within him

He has to always stay 2 steps ahead of every situation while others can chill a bit and wait for Rick to figure everything out.

Rick isn't 'risking' people.... they are qualified and they are survivors BECAUSE they fight and they are smart and they know how to work together. That comes with practice, not by hiding. Without doing these things they would all be weak.

Lori was whispering in his ear, Shane was trying to kill him. Then Lori reacts crazy about Shane’s death. Even though it was Shane who forced ricks hand. I don’t blame him for feeling this way. The man’s holding the group together. He needs time.

She did pin them against each other by her being cold to Shane and whispering things to Rick about how Shane didn’t think Rick could protect, that Shane wanted her and the baby etc. Rick is a different person after what he did to Shane. 💔

As for the prisoners, yeah Shane probably wouldn't have entertained helping them clear out the cell block...I imagine he would be wanting them to just leave. Rick on the other hand, again, is risking the life of himself and his people for strangers. Like, Rick keeps putting himself in danger for these "side quests" and is getting super lucky. Its just not smart. I get every interaction with humans in this world would be crazy and difficult, but man...I can understand both Ricks way and Shanes way. It is what it is, but Daryl and Rick are filling the hole of needing a good duo.

Right before Tomas opened both doors (which he obviously did on purpose), he gave the other prisoner a look and that guy PROCEEDED TO STEP TO THE SIDE with a confirming look. After that when Tomas pushed that walker onto Rick and Daryl came to help Rick up, Rick gave Daryl a look (the signal) so that we knew what was coming next.

Rick has been understanding and forgiving for 2 seasons straight and yet they still put him in the position he’s in. So if he’s having a hard time reconnecting with Lori, I don’t blame him at all. Shane dying isn’t gonna automatically fix Rick and Lori’s relationship. But I’ve always appreciated how much Lori tried this season so even tho i understand Rick, I still feel bad when I see how much he dismisses Lori.

But the guy who ran after Rick killed Tomas tried to swing his bat on Rick for what he did but Rick kicked him down before he could hit him and that’s why Rick left him for dead and you can see that the prisoner who was pleading for his life said that they were the violent guys so obviously we can assume that those two were locked up for violent crimes. The situation with Rick and Lori , I think you guys misread it or weren’t really paying attention because Rick placed his hand on Lori’s shoulder and thanked her for saving Hershel but it was clearly meant as a stepping stone for Rick to start back talking to her and trusting her and that’s why she pressed her cheek to her shoulder after Rick touched her bc it was the first time in a long time that he showed affection which is a very nice moment between them. Also Happy birthday Spartan 🎉🥳🎈.
