Things you'd like to see

This might be a tad out of left field, but if I could put the bug in your ear… I’d maybe sometime like to hear some more thoughts on tabletop RPGing as well. Your intermittent chats on the subject in videos always make it sound so appealing… though in practice I’ve never found a group around me that make it tolerable enough to experience much of firsthand. (My experience tends to be with people who want to compete over who can make the best joke responses/actions in response to the DMs prompting. It’s fine in certain amounts, but intolerable when it’s the main event.) I’m not sure what kinds of subjects or video formats this might produce, or if they’d be at all interesting, but it’s something that’s been on my mind a bit.

2024-07-05 18:39:11 +0000 UTCThis was a pretty difficult one for me to pick, as your immersive sim coverage is what initially drew me in years back, so I’m always down for more of that. That said, I’d love your take on horror games (would love to hear your takes on all the REs and SHs, etc.) and always always enjoy your writing analyses. While I’m not generally much of a Star Wars guy (with plenty of exceptions, tbf), if there ever was someone to convince me to dip in more broadly, it’d probably be you. In general, I don’t echo concerns about channel identity. I wouldn’t say you need to worry too much about diversification in these areas, as your whole thing tends to revolve around analyzing structures more broadly in media, be they gameplay, storytelling, etc.—you’re more than equipped to do well in them all.
