You asked how she can make the song ME! and this album In less than 18 months? Well, Taylor IS the music industry. Every album is different:
RED: Country/Pop
1989: Full pop
Reputation: Pop/Hiphop
Lover: Full pop with different sounds, specially in the song « False god»
And then you have Folklore and Evermore.
The thing with Taylor is she's from country, so her storytelling is always top nuch. You mix it with different genres... You have the best music you can have (in my non objective opnion cause I'm a Swiftie lol)
She didn't get the trophee for artist of the decade (AMA) for no reason...

You are the only reason I downloaded Patreon to see your uncut version of this Album reaction I am almost 60 but have listened since her self titled album ?(first album) every album Taylor has created will carry u on a journey within yourself, are they all different genres yes but the lyricism is the same, the media has made her famous about all her breakups and its sad because it takes away and cheapens her ability to not only emphasize with others she can bring out emotions that you may need to heal within yourself. We have discussed this with her on Tumblr ( swiftie secret) these two albums Folklore and Evermore was a gift to us on her 31st b-day...13 is her favorite number and we have been asking her to do Taylor not what the team wants or the label but what she wants to do, and these albums are a product from that, I am her for a awhile thank you for an honest review

red is an album that is similar to this but honestly all of her records are peppered with songs like the ones on folklore. as a hip hop fan you would love reputation. that is an album with not a single skip and is nothing but bars and her dropping soaps on kanye and the media while falling in love during all that chaos. it makes the album dark and edgy, but also extremely nuanced, beautiful and full of hope. i really hope you do another full album review of hers because outside of the radio singles are some gorgeous deep cuts that the real fans adore.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on reputation. Most of the album is produced by Max Martin and Jack Antonoff. Even if it's just a patreon exclusive

Such a great album and a great reaction!! Epiphany is definitely my favorite. ... Funny how you said 'August' feels "very Dawson's Creek" - you nailed it, it really is, being about the high school love triangle of Betty, James and the Hoe.

My Tears Ricochet is actually about the departure and disagrements with her Big Machine label and them selling her masters to Scooter Braun not a romantic breakup. If you listen with that in mind it makes sense (she mentions her "stolen lullabies"). Really enjoyed the full reaction and will look forward to you checking out some of her previous work if you decide to do so.

Hey Jon!! If you’re gonna do a Taylor swift reaction series, I’d recommend starting with Red then moving forward from there. All her albums prior, are no doubt great, but the subject matter is more adolescent and I feel like the production and lyricism really picks up in Red.

Random Thought but to my knowledge Jon hasn’t reacted to a 2Pac album yet I suggest he starts with all Eyez on me

So an interesting thing Taylor did is she created a story about a teenage love triangle. Cardigan is from the point of the girlfriend i.e Betty, August is from the point of the other woman, and Betty is from the point of view of James the boyfriend. Brilliant reaction!

This makes me so happy!!! I primarily listen to hip hop and have been for years, but Taylor swift is one of the few pop artists that I fuck with (on the low) hahaha so this is very appreciated!!!

Loved this! I knew it would be a great time seeing you dip into something a little different. I would highly recommend Halsey's album Manic, which also dropped this year. Not a single skip imo.
