Mid-Super Tuesday TG

My apologies for a bit of a politically charged caption, but for those of us in the United States, this mid-term election is INCREDIBLY important. If you're of age, if you've registered, please make the absolute best effort to go vote on Tuesday, November 2nd! Or go vote early!

This will also go up on DeviantArt today as I want this to be a little bit more of a PSA, but to make it up to you guys here I'm going to try for a three caption week.

I used to not care too much about voting. Whe I was a man, it didn't really seem to make a lot of difference as I never really was affected by most of the issues at hand. I never went to vote because it always seemed...unimportant to me due to politics not really affecting my day to day life. Sure things sometimes got heated and we'd get idiots in office, but I live a privileged life due to my race and gender.

Of course, that all changed the moment in 2019 when I woke up and was missing my dick, I had boobs, long hair, child bearing hips and an ass that just did not stop! And the fact that I had gone from being Caucasian to just Asian! And I was no longer a native citizen, but one that had immigrated! I never did find out how it happened or how to change back, but to everyone else this was just how I always was! My sexuality even changed so that I was Bisexual and leaning a little bit more towards men! I was also, somehow, no longer an manager at a tech company but a English Second Language teacher at a horribly underfunded school! But that didn't mean things were better. I received extraordinary racist comments, be belittled at work, and had to endure an onslaught of horrible insults about, well, anything that I did. Not to mention that despite still being (mostly) fluent in English, those time where I'd mess up and this persistent accent has done me no favors.

So living as a immigrant minority woman for three years has given me a LOT of perspective on the importance of EVERY election, not just the presidential one! After all, it's the House AND the Senate that actually make the laws (and can stop bad ones from becoming laws)! That's why these Mid-term elections are so important this year!

I'm not letting someone else dictate their laws and beliefs about my body (especially if I get pregnant)! I'm not going to stand by and let some old, out of touch and rich white men decide if I get to stay in this country or not simply because of what race I now am! Or how they want to strip all the money away from programs like affordable healthcare, funding for education, raising taxes on us poor folks so that all the rich people can get even richer! And so many other issues that voting against SHOULD be common sense! Not to mention the fascist overtones that make America seem like it's a step away from becoming Russia! So I'm getting out there and exercising my legal right as an American citizen, regardless of my sex, race, sexuality and beliefs, and VOTING! I made sure to register and I'm making the effort to get to my local polling place as it is my LEGAL RIGHT to do so! And every American that happens to read this should get out and vote as well!

No matter your race, sexuality or beliefs, you need to go vote!
