Witch-Net Encounters: Time Change

"April, how much longer are you going to keep me like this?" Rory, currently Rochelle, whined as her girlfriend propped her elbow on her shoulder and the two pouted at the camera as it flashed again. Rochelle had been a little African American girl ALL DAY and was ready to be a man again! She stared out of the apartment's windows at the already dark city sky and the sea of lights around them as the chilly spring night settled in for the long march to morning.

"Oh, just a couple more! Five minutes, tops! " April said as she grabbed Rochelle and set up another shot. This was SO much fun! She'd been super lucky to find that weird Ebay website but with actual magic spells! Aerial had overheard  a couple of her college classmates talking about it and had looked it up, skeptical at first but rapidly becoming a believer. She'd found one called 'instant model' and, eager to buff up her Instagram, had bought it for cheap and had used it on her boyfriend, turning the strapping and tall white boy into a SHORT African American girl! It had been amazing watching her six foot boyfriend's skin turn a shade darker, his close cropped hair spiral out in glorious natural curls and his body take on curves they hadn't had moments before. April thought it was pretty funny that for a self-proclaimed 'ass man', Rory had ended up with large enough hips and a booty that dominated his barely five foot new frame. Rory had freaked out about the changes but the panic had subsided to mere whining as the afternoon had worn on. The best part about the magical spell is that everyone else would think that Rory was truly Rochelle! At least for a little while. The spell had a time limit on it and if Rory stayed as Rochelle past the time limit, well, April would have to start looking for a new boyfriend. Luckily 8PM was still a whole hour away, plenty of time to snap more pics of the two of them being EXTRA girly. The redhead took another glance at the living room clock to confirm the time and, paying no heed to her deliciously small boyfriend  poutingly poking at her new breasts, set the room up for another bevy of photos.

"Ugh, FINALLY!" Rochelle groaned as, fifty-five minutes later, April finally released her from the endless photo shoot. She couldn't WAIT to get back to her old body (even though she silently admitted that, strange as it felt, this body was super hot) and be done with this weirdness.

"Aw, c'mon girlfriend, you know you had fun! Are you SURE you wanna go back to being a guy? I might convince myself to be bi with that booty!" April giggles, giving Rochelle's butt a hard, but playful smack and broke into full blown laughter as the epic posterior jiggled fair longer than it should have.

"OW! APRIL, STOP IT!" Rochelle screamed, "Change me back now!" The former man's eyes glared at her girlfriend and then gestured nervously towards the clock, which now read as 7:57PM.

"Okay okay, yeah. Party pooper!" April suppressed her giggles and stuck her tongue out at Rochelle's cute little angry face before pulling the piece of paper out of her pocket. It contained the reversal incantation, a bunch of nonsense words that sounded vaguely Latin and required a bunch of awkward hand gestures at the target. The redhead DID find the little African American girl attractive, but she loved Rory and wouldn't stand him in a strange body. She began to chant the words, waving her free hand in the air and doing the figure gestures as directed on the paper, reaching the end with a loud whoop and a pointed nail extended out towards Rochelle's body...Which didn't change.

"Um, April?" Rochelle said nervously as the clock ticked another minute towards 8pm, "Why didn't it work!?"

The redheaded caster stared at the little woman, her finger, and then down at the paper. It should have worked! The spell didn't require any perfect pronunciation or gestures, it was, as it had said on the website, idiot proof! So why didn't it work!?

"I, um, let me try it again" April stammered, quickly repeating the incantation. Again with the final point, nothing seemed to happen.

"APRIL STOP SCREWING AROUND!" Rochelle screamed as the clock ticked onto the final minute.

"I'M NOT! IT SHOULD BE WORKING!" April screamed back, waving the paper in the tiny woman's face.

"GET ONLINE AND READ THE WEBSITE!"

"I CAN'T! YOU HAVE TO PAY LIKE A THOUSAND DOLLARS TO BECOME A MEMBER AND THEY ONLY LET YOU BUY ONE SPELL!"

"WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY DO THAT!?"

"I DON'T KNOW, ROCHELLE! I MEAN RO-ROCHELLE! OMG!"

The shouting match paused as the clock chimed out, signaling the turn of the hour. The color drained from the faces of both women as Rochelle leaped on April, tearing the paper out of her girlfriend's small hands and trying to cast the spell on herself before the eight chime rang out. Again, there was no effect, no burst of light or the impossible shifting of Rochelle's body back into Ro-Rochelle. Wait, what was happening?

"NO!" Rochelle screamed as the final chime sealed her fate, locking her forever in the body of this small, bottom heavy girl, "WHY DIDN'T IT WORK!?" Rochelle looked down at her new body and then around the apartment no longer looked like it belonged to a couple, the photos of her and April as a man and woman being romantic to just two girls having fun. There WERE pictures of men and women being romantic, but they were strangers to Rochelle. One was a towering black man with his arms wrapped around her tiny body, and some new white guy and April cuddling in some bar. Her new eyes grew watery and her new lips trembled in fear as she waiting for some explanation from April, who was now clearly just her roommate.

April looked up from her phone, her face already wet from a waterfall of tears flowing out of her eyes. She offered no explanation, and simply held out her cellphone. Rochelle took it and stared down at the home screen, which had previously had a wallpaper of her old body and April at the beach that summer, but now was simply another picture of April and the new man.The clock read 9PM. And the date was March 12th. Daylight Savings Timehad just astarted, and the two of them had forgotten fix the rest of the non-digital clocks, including the living room clock! Rochelle just let out a wail and sank to the couch as the tears began to flow freely from what was now her body...And had been for an hour. She was stuck, and all because some witch online observed the dumb time change!
