Bernard huffed as he made his way through the crowded city streets, headed for the coffee shop. How dare that bimbo of a floozy of a secretary talk back to him! He, one of the most richest men in the country! Of course Bernard had fired her for refusing to go get him a coffee, and had made sure to black list the girl from ever getting an office job ever again. She'd be lucky to end up as a stripper once he was through with her! But first, the old man needed his morning coffee and his paper. And by god if he was going to put up with any one else's incompetence or back talk! So the bald old man had headed back down the skyscraper and out into the city streets, shoving and swearing at anyone foolish enough to get in his way until he finally made it to the nearest coffee store. He wasn't sure if this T&G's Coffee Cafe was what the bimbo had gotten him before or not, but it looked high class enough for him, so shoving past a bewildered looking and VERY top-heavy young woman staring at herself just outside the doors, Bernard entered the cafe. It was cool and quiet on the inside, with conversations properly hushed between mostly young looking people.
"Good, you hooligans know some manners!" The old vulturish businessman huffed before stepping up to the counter, where a young woman in a barista uniform greeted him with a smile.
"Good morning, how can I he-" She began, but Bernard cut her off.
"Shut up and just get me a coffee, black with cream, two sugars and there better not be any foam or I'll buy this whole store and fire all of you!" He commanded, staring the little woman down with his most authorative glare, "And bring me today's business paper as well! I will be sitting outside in the fresh air!"
The old man turned and stomped away, unaware of the glare the young woman was giving him. He found a seat on the cafe's patio and soon after the paper and news had arrived. He didn't acknolwedge the barista as he opened the paper and began reading it, taking a sip of his coffee. IT was a little creamier and lighter than he wanted, he'd have to- OF course, that was when Bernard ceased to exist. In his place was a young college age girl in a cute outfit, a pair of glasses on her attractive nose and long black hair dangling past her slim shoulders.
Bailey hummed to herself and handed the barista a generous tip before looking back through the newspaper. Her supervisor had encouraged the young intern to immerse herself in the business world as much as possible! Bailey wanted to become a powerful, but generous CEO one day, and she was so lucky to have such a nice guy as her boss! He was even going to hire her as a secretary once she graduated!
