Note about some Changes

To all my supporters,

With all of your help, we will be reaching this Patreon’s 2nd anniversary in 2 months. I felt like I would like to draw a cool illustration or set up an event for this celebration. Unfortunately, I don’t think I have enough time and energy to do so.

Ever since I was young, I had deep interest in furry comics I’ve read online. The biggest complaint I had against most was its slow progression in both the story and the page updates. I’ve made a motto for myself when I dreamed of making a comic myself, “my comic will be drawn with passion and energy nonstop!” The reality was that “It’s too difficult to draw comics like that,” something I’ve only learned when I started my own series. 

When I first started the comic, I kept to the 4 pages update every week. But as soon as Episode 1 was complete, I had to start my college and it was increasingly difficult to keep up. I changed the schedule to 8 pages every 2 weeks, but it only changed the release schedule and not the amount of work I had to do. I tried to add monthly illustrations to fill in the gap weeks, but it only added more work to my load and didn’t help my time and my wellbeing. 

My previous motto of “create as much I can and as fast as I can!” was pushing me to the point that it was becoming unhealthy. My main focus was on creating more comic pages, but the gap between releases was slowly increasing, and there were many months that I failed to created illustrations when I promised to do so. My fatigue has reached its peak and I constantly feel the urge to take a month or two break from drawing.

However, I do not want to stop and take a month break. The story has only reached 30% of its entire plot, and there are still new characters, new stories, and something for all of your favorite characters that I’ve been excited to share to everyone. So I’ve decided to change my schedule to a realistic quota, because if we rush haphazardly towards the finish line, we are only bound to crash and burn in the end. 

I apologize ahead of time for those who dislikes this change, but starting from September I will reduce the number of pages for each release.

 I’m planning to reduce the release from 8 pages every 2 weeks down to 5 pages every 2 weeks.

 For the Black Label pages, though it depends on the situation of the scene, will be give or take 8 pages. 

On top of this change, I would like to clarify what is going to happen with this Patreon. 

1) About the comic

• I will try to keep the schedule of releasing the comic every Sunday at 10 AM Korea time, or at least within the same Sunday. (The comic may still be delayed further, and this overall change will impact the release of the English & Japanese translations. Please understand my circumstances. ) 

2)  About the illustrations

•  I will release a small roadmap for the month, which will include the release date for the comics and the illustrations
•  We will vote for a concept every month and I will draw the winning concept as the next illustration. Users are free to suggest themes and characters and it will be under consideration for the next voting or etc. (Since the change will begin in September, the voting will begin next week and the illustration will be uploaded next month, October.)
• If there is something I would like to draw personally, I will not put up a page for voting and describe the theme on the roadmap. If an illustration was voted on a previous month, that art will be delayed till next month.

I apologize again for the drastic reduction of content, but please understand that this is necessary. The rest of the month is still under subject to change for its releases, but I will try my best to provide within the time.

 여러분의 도움 덕분에, 제 패트론 후원도 이제 두 달 후면 2주년을 맞이하게 됩니다.

마음같아서는 다른 멋진 아티스트들처럼 기념 그림도 그리고, 이벤트도 열고 싶은 마음이지만,

여유가 나질 않아 매우 아쉽습니다.

 어릴적 저는 많은 수인 만화에 의문점을 가지고 있었습니다. 페이지 수가 적어서 스토리의 진행이 늦는게 항상 불만이었죠.

저는 어릴 적 수인 만화가를 꿈꾸면서 '내가 만화를 그릴 땐 화끈하게 팍팍 그려야겠다' 라고 생각했었어요.

하지만 사실 그 이유는'그렇게 하기 너무 힘들기 때문'이었습니다. 본격적으로 만화를 시작한 지금에서야 알게 되었지만요.

 처음은 일주일에 4페이지였지만, 에피소드 1이 끝나고 대학을 다니기 시작하자 힘에 겨웠습니다.

방침을 바꿔 2주에 8페이지 연재를 꽤 오래 지속해왔었지만, 결국 순서만 바꿨지 총량은 줄어들지 않았고  

거기에 심지어 일러스트까지 끼워놓았으니 총량이 더 늘어났으니, 결론적으로 제 건강과 시간적 여유에 도움은 되지 않았습니다. 

 '최대한 많이, 최대한 빨리 만화를 진행하자!' 라는것이 제 모토였습니다만, 아무래도 제가 너무 과하게 무리를 해서 밀어붙이고 있었던 것 같습니다.

만화는 어쨌거나 연재를 이어나갔지만 점차 제 시간에 맞추지 못해 허덕였고, 일러스트는 심지어 제공을 못하고 미뤄졌던 달들이 훨씬 많았습니다.

최근들어서 제 피로도는 한계에 다다르게 되어, 아예 한 두 달쯤 쉬고싶은 충동을 자주 느낍니다.

 하지만, 저는 한달이나 쉬고 싶지 않습니다. 만화 전체 스토리는 이제 겨우 30%쯤 도달했고, 제 머릿속에 있는 스토리와 새로 나올 캐릭터,

그리고 여러분이 좋아하는 캐릭터들의 사연들을 여러분께 빨리 보여주고 싶거든요. 그러기 위해서, 스케쥴을 현실적으로 전향하는게 좋다는 결론을 내렸습니다.

목적지에 도달하기 위해 악셀만 밟다보면, 주체가 안되기 시작하는 바로 그 때 모든게 한번에 박살날테니까요.

그렇기에, 안 좋게 생각하시는 분들에게는 죄송하지만,

9월부터 만화의 페이지를 줄일 예정입니다.

기본 2주에 8페이지씩에서 2주에 5페이지씩으로,

블랙 라벨의 경우에는 스토리의 맥락에 따라 다르겠지만, 8페이지 안팎으로 제공하겠습니다.

줄인만큼 제 나름대로 보완하려는 사항들도 있습니다.

1.만화의 경우 

• 매주 일요일 오전 10시(한국 시간 기준)에 최대한 맞춰보고, 하다못해 일요일 안으로 업로드 하도록 하겠습니다.
• 영문과 일문은 번역을 담당하시는 분들의 사정도 있기 때문에, 여전히 늦을 가능성은 있습니다. 이해해주시기 바랍니다.

2. 일러스트의 경우 

• 만화와 마찬가지로 매 월 초에 업로드하는 로드맵에 날짜를 지정하겠습니다.
• 컨셉이 관해 몇가지를 선정해 매 월 투표해 당선된 컨셉을 다음 달에 쓰도록 하겠습니다.
• 투표 게시글에 자유롭게 원하시는 주제나 캐릭터를 쓰셔도 괜찮습니다만, 반드시 반영 되는것은 아닙니다(*9월부터 시행되기 때문에, 9월 투표로 선정된 컨셉이 10월에 업로드 됩니다.)
•  제가 그리고 싶은게 있다면 투표를 열지 않고 로드맵에 바로 주제를 적어놓을 예정입니다.이런 경우에는 당선된 컨셉이 다음달로 미뤄집니다. 

 총량을 줄이는 것에 대해 유감스럽다는 말씀을 드리며, 넓은 아량으로 이해해주시기 바랍니다.

이번 달 스케쥴은 변동이 있을지언정, 제공되기로 한 분량들은 꼭 제공해드리도록 하겠습니다.

皆様のお陰で私のパトローンも2ヶ月後には2週年を迎えます。

他のアーティストの方々同様、記念絵を描いたり、イベントを開催したりとしてみたいですが、余裕が持てず悔しく思います。

幼い頃より多くの獣人漫画に接しながらいくつか疑問を抱いていました。特に何故ページ数が少なくてストーリの進行が遅かったかは不満でもありました。幼い頃に獣人漫画家になることを夢見ては「もし私が漫画を描くならもっと早く描こう」と思っていました。

しかし、いざ描くとなると皆がそう出来なかった理由は「とても難しいこと」だったからでした。本格的に漫画を始めた今だからやっとわかったことですね。

始めは1週間に4ページでしたが、エピソード１が終わり大学に通い始めると力に限界を感じ始めました。

２週に８ページ連載に変えて連載を続けていましたが、結局は順番が変わっただけで作業量は減らず

更にイラストまで追加し、結果的には作業が更に多くなってしまいました。時間的余裕を失い、健康に影響が出始めたのです。

「出来るだけ多く、出来るだけ早く漫画を進めよう！」がモッドでしたが、無鉄砲に我を通していたみたいです。

漫画はこれからも連載を続けて行きますが、作業時間が確保出来ず焦り、イラストは提供を延期した月が多かったのも事実です。

最近になっては疲労度が限界に達して、いっそのこと２ヶ月程休みたいと頻繁に思う様になりました。

しかし、１ヶ月も休みたくはなかったのです。漫画全体のストーリは今やっと30％進んだだけで、私の頭の中にあるストーリや新しいキャラクター、そして皆様に人気のキャラクターのストーリをいち早く見せたかったのです。そうする為にはスケジュールを現実的に再検討する必要があるとの結論に至りました。

目的地に辿り着く為にアクセル全開では、そのうち制御しきれなくなって全てが泡になるのも時間の問題だと思います。

以上の理由から大変申し訳有りませんが、

９月からは漫画連載のページ数を少し減らす予定です。

基本２週毎に８ページだった連載を５ページへ、

ブラックラベルの場合はストーリの脈絡にもよりますが、８ページ前後で投稿します。

減らした分だけ他の部分で補って見ようかとも思っていまして

1.漫画の場合

• 毎週日曜日の午前10時（韓国時間基準）に最大限合わせ、遅くても日曜日内にはアップロード出来るよう努めます。
• 英語、日本語を担当している方々のスケジュール調整もあるため、今まで通り遅くなる可能性があります。ご理解頂けますと幸いです。

2.イラストの場合 

• 漫画と同じ様に毎月始めにアップロードするロードマップに投稿日を記載します。
• コンセプトに関しては何種類かを選び投票、毎月の当選したコンセプトで次の月のイラストを描きます。
• 投票掲示板に自由にキャラクターに関する要望など投稿ください。但し、必ず反映されるわけでは有りません  。 （＊9月から開始するので、9月の投票で選ばれたコンセプトが10月に投稿されます。）
• 私が描きたいものがあった場合には投票はせず、ロードマップに決まったコンセプトだけを記載する予定です 。 この場合には当選したコンセプトは次の月のコンセプトになります。

投稿数を減らす事、大変申し訳ありません。ご理解頂けますと幸いです。

今月のスケジュールには変更があるかも知れませんが、提供が決まっている分に関しては必ず提供致します。
