The new swamp's boss and her slime friend are finally here. Mausolea can be fought in her temple, which can be accessed via the swamp gardens area by going all the way to the right edge of the stage. As usual, please check out the attached text change-log at the bottom of this post for more details.

This new boss fight is kinda tricky because it's at the same time easy to understand but difficult to handle. Her attack pattern is simple, but dealing with her projectile spam and summons will prove a decent challenge.

The new common enemy is the slime girl and she populates the garden area as well. She can be easily found near the save point there, but the slime queen will also spawn many of them during the fight.

As for the ero scenes, the slime girl has 3 new ones, with 2 of them being rather peculiar. The slime queen has 2, with one of them being a different sub-genre of vore (or perhaps laterally related) which is quick-sand/sinking fetish. As for the 3rd scene of the slime queen, I didn't feel it was in a right spot, so I held on it for now and will make it to become an extended game over.

Which leads me into the next point: what I'll be working for the next update is the promised framework to create more extended game-overs, or "bad-ends" if you will. That is, more scenes like the one for the dog-boy where Maya is taken somewhere else for a unique scene, and there might be some unique dialogue too. The dog-boy scene is hard-coded so I wanted to take the time to make a proper framework for those so that I can effortlessly create more specific scenes in this style.

Some of the enemies that will get a new scene like this are:

1) The Slime Queen, a scene where after Maya has been absorbed, Maya grows as an extension of the queen, who them grow other damsels that she has absorbed over the years and she makes all of those ladies assault Maya at once.
2) The giant botfly takes Maya into its nest where she will birth new spawns.
3) The futa druid centauress will be show in full BDSM gear, with Maya strapped tied down beneath her, as they strut around in their new married life.

Just to name a few of course. Not all enemies will get these special scenes, but I'd like to have at least 10 or so more of these, in particular for fan favorites.

Speaking of fan favorites, after I have the framework in place (and with some example scenes implemented as described) I'm thinking of making the 2 last polls for MKM as I near the end of its development. One of those polls would be for everyone to come up and vote on bad-ends scenarios for their favorite pre-existing characters, and the other poll would be in a similar fashion but for normal scenes.

I want to add 2 new special skills for Maya as well: a ground pound that creates a big explosion (remember the arena minotaur boss fight?) and an air-dash as an upgrade to the current dash movement that can only be performed from the ground. Then add the final boss fight, a couple of new enemies and then finally initiate the final phase of development, where I'll go back and give a polishing pass and balance things out, rework some stage layouts, etc.

Alright, this now closes the 2 month dev cycle and I'll be starting a new one, to be able to make some new interesting bad-end scenarios.

Found this game and loved the transformation bad ends, and can't wait to see more. I'm kinda surprised there isn't one as a centauress, mermaid, or fairy. Maybe it's cliched but those feel like they belong in a game where the heroine might lose her humanity.

Hi, could you please elaborate on the issue? I tried replicating it but wasn't able to. Which doors in the gallery are not appearing for you? And if you could confirm that the bosses are indeed defeated?

I am confident any post-vore weight gain ending will not win a scene extension vote, but I would really love a post-vore scene of Clematis the witch after she eats Maya. She tells her she's what she needs to access something, but then digests her? I'd love to see an ending scene where you maybe get a hint of what she means, plus part of the fun of post-digestion is seeing your pred continue to strut their stuff after you're a part of them. <3 I've also been meaning to bring this up, but I have always felt like the dark fairy endings are missing a few frames at the end. Not as an error, but the scene if I recall transitions directly from mid-orgasm animation to idle, and it feels like it's missing some transitional frames. I hope you won't write this off as me fishing for content; as anal vore isn't really my favorite thing, but it just always struck me as feeling a little off. I really hope there can be a bad end featuring a character that has swallowed and digested Maya, and I feel like it would best suit Clematis since she gives off that feeling of a more major player. Plus, I really, .really. like her, not gonna lie. She's probably my favorite enemy and character. Love those haughty, evil smug preds.

The kobolds could do with an extension, I think there was a proposed end with Maya was transformed. I feel like the bunny girls could do with something similar. All of the bosses could do with having some permanency to their sequences, some already have transformation and vore, but the merking is just one position. That being said, I'm sure whichever scenes you add they'll be great. I'm looking forward to the next update.

Would you be able to add an internal part to the slime queen vore animation where Maya is seen inside and seen absorbed - feel like this is missing and would be a great addition :)

Yeah I feel like there should really be scenes that definitively show why it's a "GAME OVER" situation, when Maya runs out of health there should definitely be something more "final" about what follows from there. An example would be the flower enemies early on in the forest area... what's the affect of the liquid it's feeding her? A "GAME OVER" scene should show the consequences, of getting caught by that specific enemy, same thing goes for the Starfish enemies and those Sea anemone things as well, basically as many as you feel you could do. Adding even more thoughts emotions, context and consequences to the sexual elements to this game would improve it by a factor a thousand! A fade to back with something happening to indicate that there's no escape... and in some cases, even if she could... she wouldn't want to ;)

I really like platformer / sides roller games or other 2d action games. After you reached this stage of dev I really have to say I am utterly impressed with how straight you pushed through, no struggle, few delays and boi,look at the mass of enemies you created with different attacks and different scenes. I think this game even excels echina wars dx and FOBS and many other games. In many other games you find top notch art, but odd animations or only few enemies. You have like 4 maps with 2 enemies each. Having all those lovely details, the charming hand crafted animations and to let the community partizipate via polls and the shear amount of contend makes your game easily one of the best of all times. Thank you! P. S. I wish I could have written this in my mothertounge for it would have been as rethorishly polished as you deserve

I literally can't wait when the game is all finished so I can play it back to back with all the features! (Its so addicting to playthrough! Its literally the first NSFW game of this scope I ever played, and I kind of fell in love with it as a result!) With the shop and natural way to restore armor, and no longer respawning potions each time i re-enter the room, potions that i have to spend money on, i hope it'll be a true journey and a challenge to handle the money as a resource, at least on harder difficulty. Again, later bosses are challenging enough, they don't have to be harder on harder diff, but the earlier bosses (+werewolf) and most regular enemies are not much of a threat, either too predictable or too slow with super telegraphed attacks and little reflexes required :) I am aware the former is hard to change, but the latter shouldnt be, so that harder difficulty makes everything quicker~ ^^ just my opinion of course. Love the bad-end following scenes idea! I love those botflies and druid centauresses both! Albeit the centauress only appears in one section which is kind of sad to me.

Awesooome! Loved the update and the next one sounds even better. Well done, you've come so far!!! On the topic of extended bad ends, I'd like to see the mannequin of all of them. Being turned into an unquestioning, depraved servant to the princess seems like uhhh... fun, yeah, that's the word I'm after.

Cool to see my favorite character, the centaur, getting a bad-end scene. Love the forceful attraction she has on Maya. If I were to pick one to have one for, I'd have one for the bat gals in the caves where she gets turned into one of them from the bite in the normal scene with her and they have it on the ceiling, cause they're bats, they hang on ceilings.

Alrighty then! Another update, another batch of good stuff. First on your future plans. It's cool to hear you're gonna work on the extended game overs. The three you mentioned sound really good, and I'm eager to see what other enemies you'll give the treatment to. Anyhoo, onto the game. The slime girl was pretty fun. Nice good 'ol yuri, and the futa/transformation scene was really nicely done. The reverse inflation one was pretty interesting, and it's hilarious how you lose because you got fat. Though I was wondering was anything supposed to happen after that? In the gallery, there was some more flavor text when you tried to progress the scene. But yeah, the boss was really fun. Though there was a lot of stuff to dodge, I think this fight was pretty balanced. I used the flame uppercut a lot and it's pretty fitting that worked pretty well against a slime enemy. Her scenes were great as well. The tentacle bed was nice, along with the end where Maya is sprayed with a ton of...uh, white slime, yeah I'm sure it was slime. The absorption one was really good, and I especially loved how (without spoiling too much) the Queen got more added onto her physically and internally. All in all, some really good content this time. I'm excited for the next one and the extended game overs. Also, I love the little touch you added in for the intro splash screen.

This update came just as I moved to my first apartment and won't have internet for my PC for at least a week or more. I'm gonna be anxious all the while until I'm able to experience the new boss πŸ˜„. And I'm most definitely looking forward to more extended game over scenes. The futa centauress is one of my favorite enemies and kinks, so to see that you have that as a planned one has me squealing like a schoolgirl (metaphorically). To say I'm excited to see what other enemies you're going to do would be an understatement. Fantastic work as always.
