Added 2020-07-02 19:00:50 +0000 UTCCongratulations to the winner! The lamia will become a new custom character to be added into the game. Vore is proving to be extremely popular, beyond what even I expected.
I'll make some minor adjustments to the rules of bonus accumulation, with the intention of trying to improve competition. The rules are as follows:
All bonuses of fetish tags that participated in the current poll are doubled, with some exceptions:
- If a participating tag didn't have any bonus during the current poll, they start at 8.
- The winning tag (most voting power) has its bonus (if any) wiped back to zero.
- For the 2nd place, if its number of normal votes is over 80% of the normal votes of the 1st place (meaning that it was a close competition between two popular tags), then it accumulates only half of the bonus (decimals rounded down). Otherwise it is doubled as normal.
One of the changes is that new tags start at 8 bonus instead of 2, meaning that the minimum bonus is 8. The other change is that now the 2nd place can also accumulate 100%, unless it was a very close/equal race, where it accumulates only 50%.
So with those rules in mind, the tags will be upgraded for the next poll as follows:
- _Blowjob: 8 (unchanged; non participating entry)
- _Vanilla/Male: 64 (32*2; 100% increase as normal votes are lower than 80% of 1st place)
- _Monster/Creature: 16 (8*2; exceptionally went from 6 to 8 due to a rule change)
- _Yuri/Lesbian: 18 (9*2)
- _Futanari: 8 (exceptionally went from 2 to 8 due to a rule change; non participating entry)

That's probably a huge factor in it. I only found this game because of the vore scenes that were posted to PornHub and since there is a huge lack of good vore in games or h-games it's no surprise it's getting huge support here. There's barely half a dozen decent vore games but thousands and thousands of standard flair defeat h-games.

And even the weirder stuff like the fairy isnt too bad. Still. If they cant interact with a downed maya providing the fetish is off, im happy. I press f12 a bunch. Heh. P.S. 2020-07-03 17:27:15 +0000 UTCTo clarify a bit more on what I was suggesting, I was thinking maybe one of the two enemies per stage could be used for the vore poll, that way the people who like vore could still see vore scenes, and the people who have other ideas can still suggest them in the polls. And maybe to be fair, if there's one set of polls (one for vore and the other for the rest), you can only suggest ideas for one of them, not both, but you can still vote in both. I might be trying too hard at this point to think of a good idea, and I can definitely see how this one might not work. I guess I'll stop here and see how this plays out.

2020-07-03 05:27:55 +0000 UTCHmm, I would suggest maybe a quick poll to see what the general consensus is towards this situation, but I'm not sure that would be a good idea. There's a chance that along with the vore options getting numerous amounts of votes, the option to keep vore scenes in for enemy polls may be numerous as well. The rest here is just me spitballing here and hoping to find some workable suggestions, but maybe we could split the polls. One poll (perhaps infrequently) for vore, since it's practically overwhelmingly popular, and the other for every other fetish. And maybe we could keep the fetish pause on boss polls but the split poll suggestion would apply to non-boss ideas. Mm, still doesn't really feel like the idea's sticking though, and this could be seen as unfair to the other fetishes as well. Darn. Well I'm sure something will come up that everyone will be content with.

And it just so happened that vore won (tied) the 1st poll, and then was banned from the 2nd poll. The problem with that is that it limits potential ideas, and can be quite confusing too. But I'll give it some thought about implementing it again.

I'm also looking for a more "positive" solution; something that would enhance the chances of other tags without having to ban one of them. The thing about banning a tag per month is that it can get quite confusing for patrons when they are making suggestions, limiting the ideas, etc.

Alternative animations and scenes would indeed be ideal, but the problem would be the huge workload in order to actually create all of those new scenes, and it can become a slippery slope real fast. For an example, say enemy A has a vore scene. Then I would create an alternative lesbian scene. But then there's people who don't like either vore or lesbian, so I would have to create a 3rd scene, etc. Now, there are going to be some alternative scenes for a few enemies that's for sure, but since I want to create a good amount of different enemies, having 2 scenes per enemy would be a crazy amount of work.

Since vore so far has been so popular it's gotten nearly half of a 200 vote count poll. Maybe we could just have the vore fetish be affected by that rule for now. As much as I adore vore content and as many unique and different kinds of scenes can come from it, maybe balancing everything out could be unanimously satisfactory. I'm sure there's still some flaws in this suggestion, but I guess in the end, the final decision is up to you, Mega. #nerfvorefornow

E.g. say you have vore off, then maybe the lamia plays with Maya's boobs instead as an example?; Of course, it is your game, and the majority speak. But there is a lot of people out there who get weirded out by that stuff. Yknow what I'm sayin?
