The salamander woman is ready to prowl! You can encounter her in both of the hill stages but she is most commonly on the Fae's Overpass. There's two of them inside the big cave to the right of the save point, and another 2 across the bridge/pathway leading into the boss stage.

She is immune to stagger so in order to fight her you have to keep moving and maintain a distance, and her tongue can easily melt Maya's armor and clothing, so watch out because once Maya is naked the tongue will grab her right in!

Let me know what you think of her behavior; maybe she's a bit too difficult and that's why I didn't want to overpopulate the stages with her. I want to get some feedback first to see if I need to better balance the challenge.

The next release will be the new monster city stage and beastmen.

Thank you for your patience and support!

Regarding the salamander behavior I see what you mean. I actually tested her behavior with a frequent tongue attack but I thought that players would find it too annoying so I limited its usage frequency. The suggestions for her pounce attack are some that I've considered as well, but also didn't go for it due to the same reasons. That said, at some point I will do a pass on all enemies behaviors/patterns and revise them, which may include your suggestions as well since at that point I will have a better idea of the general difficulty of the game as a whole and players will have new tools to deal with more challenging enemies.

Salamander's animation is really nice, the internals have been a really lovely touch for those sorts of things! As far as her attacks and difficulty, the difficulty feels pretty good - a little more challenging than we've seen, but doable, but it seems a little awkward that she has a ranged attack but keeps walking into melee range? When I did my test fights against her, I did think it was a little weird that she just kinda... Walked at me to damage me, when she wasn't trying for the tongue. It might be cool to give her a slightly bigger jump that lets her vault over and behind Maya more easily, or take quick backsteps to try and stay ranged when she can.

It's great, also I think the next boss should be like a big fairy...

I think what caused the bug was one of the blocks in the area had some weird collision it was to the right of the save point in the hills area I took a screen shot as well of you want I could email it to you or something luke that

I'm happy that you've enjoyed the vore! Hmm that's a weird bug... do you remember if during that you landed on top of the fairy? I'll try to reproduce it as it could be during the fairy's death animation too.

I appreciate the in depth feedback Vik! Right, once naked the tongue really becomes a threat. For now I've made it so that if Maya still has armor and clothing, the tongue deals 50% armor damage to quickly drain it. Do you think that's a bit much or about ok? Also you have a good point; indeed if Maya has a couple of stat upgrades that will help too, and it ties in with the general idea that the more tools I add in for Maya then those challenges become more manageable.

love the new salamander girl the vore is the best thing added so far love the cut away the attack that can grab you the works also i found a glitch that landed me in the floor somehow while dashing and attacking a fairy might jsut be some bad collision not sure anyway keep up the great work

Alrighty then. Firstly, well done with the salamander woman and her grab. Always love a good vore scene when there's a good amount of care put into it. Onto the next point, I feel that the salamander woman's difficulty is at a good level. Not super easy or average, at least on your first few encounters. Just enough difficulty to learn her moveset and react accordingly. It's funny how you mentioned Dark Souls in one of your comments on the last posts, cause I think mindsets from that game work well here. Land a hit or two when you get an opening, and play real defensively. Except instead of roll dodging everywhere, you dash and jump around. Ironically, mimicking the salamander woman's jumping is the best thing to do to avoid damage, since you can jump cancel your attack animation. I will say that the difficulty for her goes up a considerable amount when you fight her while naked. I did go up against her a number of times while naked to see how well I could survive. Even some where my health was very low to the point of the next grab K.O.ing me. But yeah, did that a few times, and it's not impossible to do. And once I got a good flow going, I managed to reenact winning reliably. So long story short, great grab scene, and difficulty is above average, but at a satisfactory level. Quick note, I just remembered I was testing the fights as vanilla Maya. So no HP, defense, or strength buffs were on. Theoretically, that means if you do get some upgrades, they should have some beneficial effects to any fights.
