Mystic Knight Maya: the patreon

My initial plan was to develop MKM in the same way I did my first game: I worked on it in private until it was about 90% done, then I released a demo a short while before releasing the completed version on digital stores.

But mainly 2 things made me change my mind:

What I'm saying is that I had never really considered patreon before, and would have just continued to work on the game like I did before: once in a blue moon, maybe 4 hours a month, to finish the game god knows when. 

So at the beginning, please consider this campaign more like a tip jar if you enjoyed my first game, or if you think there is some potential in the prototype of my second game.

But if this patreon get's traction, then I'll be able to dedicate more time to working on the game, and therefore establish more consistent development times and updates.

In that scenario:

Beyond that, a successful campaign would give me confidence to actively pursue my dream of working full time making video games, which would mean that I would be able to create and design bigger, better and more ambitious games in the future.
